51 Blood coagulation (1/2)
As soon as Huang Qiuyan disappears with Fu Mian, Izo and Lei follow her. The hunters are startled. Some of them lose control over the weapons and shoot in the direction of purebloods. Fu Sheng manifests a wall of fire around the hunters, burning away the arrows and the daggers advancing toward the purebloods.
\”You tricked us.\” Abel snarls at them.
\”Fu Mian will never be used as a weapon,\” Fu Sheng states calmly. \”If hunters are interested, we will cooperate in stopping this apocalypse.\”
Ian looks in the direction Huang Qiuyan ran to. The vampire fooled them. She seemed pretty against Fu Sheng, but she chose to help Fu Sheng in the end.
Still, she didn't say wrong. Fu Mian can't be used against all the vampires since her blood cannot be cloned.
Eradicating the vampires might be the hunters' first goal, but stopping more humans turning into vampires is also their aim.
Lastly, Huang Qiuyan is quite interesting.
\”Fu Sheng, the hunters are interested in the alliance against the apocalypse.\” Ian hears the dissatisfied grumbles in the crowd behind him. He turns to the crowd. \”Everyone, stopping the apocalypse it the first necessary action that we must take. We can't let more humans turn into the new vampires. The new vampires are evolving as we speak. All of our weapons are useless against them. We must stop it before it becomes worse.\”
The remaining purebloods watch the hunters whispering among themselves. They aren't happy with this either, but it's their King's wish. So, they must accept it anyway.
\”I want to see how these so-called noble vampires can help.\” Abel scoffs. After Huang Qiuyan tricked them, he dislikes them more. \”I am sure that they are happy about the current state of the world. They just want to see the world burn.\”
Fu Sheng replies calmly, \”If you are that unhappy, you can try solving this problem alone. As of now, you don't even know how to kill them without Fu Mian.\”
The 9 vampires can't handle this mess alone. The hunters can't handle this mess either. Abel shuts his mouth. Even though he's young, he knows that they are nothing without Fu Mian.
Seeing that the hunters have calmed down and thinking rationally, Ian shows a foxy smile to Fu Sheng and says, \”Let's discuss the alliance.\”

In the woods, Huang Qiuyan stops running and puts down Fu Mian. She checks on her first. The child has no physical wound, but she's scared witless.
\”Princess, you are safe.\” Huang Qiuyan smiles at her. \”They won't get you again. Your father is having a talk with them.\”
