With a complicated heart and restless mind, Fu Sheng walks into the castle with Li Dai Yu in his arms. Noah arrives and exclaims when he sees her in such a state. Aiken and Izo are nowhere to be seen.

”Find Aiken and tell him that I am back,” Fu Sheng commands him with a low voice. ”How's Jin?”

”He is better than before, but…” Noah lowers his eyes. ”It will take some time for his core to completely heal. He can't stay awake for a long time.”

”Do whatever it takes.” Fu Sheng glances at Li Dai Yu's face. ”When Aiken returns, tell him that I want to see him.”

Li Dai Yu is dangerous to everyone in the castle. He takes her to his room and lays her down on the bed. Before she wakes up, he must do something. But Fu Sheng can't move. He stares at her. The core of magic is near completion. Her body can't cope with it. He covers her with the blanket. This room must become her prison until Huang Qiuyan comes out.

After watching the princess fall asleep, Xiao Chun Dan leaves her room. Noah is nowhere to be seen. He walks toward Huang Qiuyan's room. When he sees the door ajar, he widens his eyes. Is she back? Xiao Chun Dan peeks inside and sees his host body on the bed with Fu Sheng sitting beside her.

Relieved, he takes a step forward. However, he slams against something as hard as a solid wall. He falls back with a cry. When he looks up, Fu Sheng is standing before him. Xiao Chun Dan asks him, ”Why can't I enter?”

Fu Sheng comes out of the room and closes the door. ”She's not herself.”

”Not herself…?” Xiao Chun Dan frowns at him. ”Vampire king, please speak clearly. This is a matter about my host. Her well being is most important to me. Don't hide anything.”

”Huang Qiuyan is asleep.” Fu Sheng stares at the boy. ”She might or might not wake up. Currently, her body is being controlled by her dark side.”

”Dark side?” Xiao Chun Dan can't believe those words. Does his host have a dark side? His idiot host who would endanger herself for Fu Mian?

”I don't know what kind of human life she had.” Fu Sheng closes his eyes and exhales. ”She must have suffered a lot. All the repressed feelings that she buried deep in her heart are controlling her now.”

Repressed feelings? Xiao Chun Dan looks down at the floor. He doesn't have much information on her background. She was randomly chosen. Her family seemed average.
