Shen Luo'an's manner of speech was very slow. His eyes gazed into Ye Youyou's. His steps were neither quick nor slow, but each step he took struck terror into her heart.

Ye Youyou stared at Shen Luo'an. Her heartbeat quickened.

The dark rings around the eyes on the man before her were obvious. But, she could tell that he had gotten himself cleaned up. He didn't look like he came straight from the holding cell.

Still, he looked visibly tired, and his expression wasn't pleasant. It was apparent that his two days at the police station weren't agreeable with him.

When Shen Luo'an saw Ye Youyou's expression, he laughed. ”Ye Youyou, go back to the Capital with me, will you? It must have been a long time since you last saw Queye, isn't that so?”

That name had been standing between Ye Youyou and Shen Luo'an for seven years. Even with the knowledge that there was such an individual that was an obstacle for the both of them, she had still agreed without any hesitation to marry him when he proposed.

Shen Luo'an took a step closer. He enunciated his words clearly as he said, ”Let's go back to visit her. I think she probably misses you very much too.”

His expression looked very normal. He gazed at her and slowly said, ”Besides, Dad and Mom have been asking about you. Even if your heart isn't there, you should still show them the proper etiquette. If it had been Queye, she definitely wouldn't have been this rude.”
