The black shadows that had lined up stopped running around. Then, a slightly larger black shadow floated in front of them alone.
Seeing this, the man and Mu Yao looked at each other across the boiling magma river. They both held their weapons tightly.
From a distance, Mu Yao could make out what the man was saying. Mu Yao’s heart warmed when she saw it.
He had mouthed, “Be careful.”
‘You too,’ Mu Yao thought.
Mu Yao was surprised that the man cared about her and hadn’t left her to fend for herself.
After a slight nod, the tense atmosphere came to a climax. The moment the leader of the black shadows flew into the sky, Mu Yao knew that the war had begun.
At this moment, her palms were already sweating.
With a boom, the rows of black shadows awoke and split into two teams like soldiers on the battlefield, as though they had heard a general blowing a horn. One team rushed towards Mu Yao and the other towards the man.
The magma was crackling and surging, and the temperature of the entire mystical realm was rising by the second.
Mu Yao and the man were naturally forced to quicken their breathing to avoid oxygen deprivation.
“Charge!” the group of black shadows let out a collective shout.
Mu Yao was greeted by the sight of a huge shadow charging at her! She immediately ducked and waved her silver sword, scattering several black shadows.
However, this was not enough. She was fighting one against a hundred. There was no way to win.
On the other side, a large group of black shadows attacked the man.
The man subconsciously waved the stone in his hand. He was unarmed, but he still had his martial arts skills to fall back on. He immediately dodged to the side. He stepped onto the rock wall and after somersaulting, he landed perfectly on one knee.
Without decent weapons, his first move would naturally be to dodge.
At the same time, the Blood Pupil behind the stone statue above their heads was watching this scene with satisfaction, and it closed its eyes in satisfaction. Just as he expected, no one could leave his mystical realm!
On the other side, Mu Yao was doing her best to brandish her silver sword. With the support of this sword, Mu Yao, who did not have any martial arts or cultivation foundations, actually felt a trace of strength run through her entire body. She was naturally carried by the silver sword.
Even so, the situation was not optimistic because there were too many black shadows. Even though some of them had been dispersed, another wave quickly came toward her.
At the same time, the man who was constantly dodging suddenly raised his head. An invisible force seemed to have sprung out from his body.
To his surprise, the large black shadow that had just approached him suddenly retreated for no reason. Before he could attack and disperse that large group of black shadows, they retreated on their own accord.
Following that, the black figures began to discuss amongst themselves, “Who is he? Why is there such a strong resistance around him that we can’t approach him at all?”
“That’s right! I feel like my remaining soul will dissipate as long as I get close!” another piped up.
“That’s right! You guys are right. Although this person doesn’t have any spiritual power at all, it’s terrifying to approach him!” another black shadow spoke up.
“That shouldn’t be the case. How could this be? We’ve been in this mystical realm for so long, but we’ve never met anyone we can’t beat! Has there been anyone who wasn’t beaten up by us? In the end, they would always fall into this magma river and be sacrificed to our Heavenly God,” a black shadow lamented.
