Chapter 2309 - The Mysterious White-Robed Priestess! (1/2)

Chapter 2309: The Mysterious White-Robed Priestess!

In the eastern part of the Great Steppe, a mountain soared into the clouds. At the summit, a gray tent had been erected. In front of the tent, a brazier blazed, but there was no one around it. It was an exceptionally bizarre sight.

If someone got close, they would be able to hear a faint voice come from that empty tent on the summit.

“My master, have things truly reached this stage?”

“This slave knows, but… this slave hopes that Master will reconsider!”

“This slave would not dare! I will strictly carry out Master’s order!”

“Yes!”

The voice of a woman came from the tent, and it seemed to be carrying out a conversation with someone else. But even though it was possible to hear that woman’s voice, the one speaking with her remained unheard. Each time, it was only possible to hear a hoarse scratching sound.

After a long while, the conversation seemed to end, and all the voices disappeared.

Buzz!

In a flash of light and rippling air, a figure appeared within the empty tent.

This woman was around thirty years old and had a beautiful face, and she wore a resplendent priestess gown.

But she had a white silk scarf the width of two fingers wrapped around her eyes, making her seem both mysterious and beautiful.

“All of this is destiny!”

The priestess sighed as she looked at a certain point in the distance, a complicated look on her face.

The steppe was empty, but in the ‘eyes’ of the priestess, she could see two figures rapidly approaching.

Buzz!

With a long sigh, the tent, the priestess, and the coal brazier disappeared as if they had never existed.

A few moments later, in a flash of light, a figure appeared at the foot of Mount Yaluo.

“Supremes are truly impressive individuals.”

Wang Chong looked up at the bald face of the mountain as he commented.

He had arrived at Mount Yaluo early and had been searching for any sign of Luo Supreme or the entrance to the dimension that this mysterious Turkic War God had hidden himself in.

But this was easier said than done. Wang Chong had wasted an entire day without finding any sign of Luo Supreme.

He was now beginning to somewhat understand why the Celestial God Organization had never been able to find him, even though they knew full well that he was in Mount Yaluo.

“Spatial geography is completely different from geography in reality. There’s no point in knowing that the entrance to Luo Supreme’s dimension is in Mount Yaluo, because for Luo Supreme, it doesn’t matter if the entrance is in Mount Yaluo or in the Central Plains, since Heaven’s dimension is always in the depths of spacetime!” Li Xuantu’s voice rang out in Wang Chong’s mind. He had spent far more time immersed in Grotto Heaven laws than Wang Chong, so he had a deep understanding of spatial laws.

Spatial laws were extremely complex. Knowing that the entrance was in Mount Yaluo was like only having a piece of the puzzle. One piece was far from enough to make out the full appearance of the puzzle.

“Luo Supreme is probably the most cautious of them all, and he’s always been on guard against the Celestial God Organization and Heaven. Origin Supreme needed to protect the people of Sindhu, so he was always somewhat restrained, and Unity Supreme set up the Great Snow Mountain Holy Temple and was closely connected to it. These people had burdens, but Luo Supreme is different. Even the Turks have abandoned him, so he has nothing holding him down.

“If he wants to hide, it will truly be rather difficult to find him,” Wang Chong sternly said.

He had sensed special pulses of power from the summit of Mount Yaluo several times, but each time he went over, the other party had seemingly already sensed him and disappeared. Thus, Wang Chong had made little progress.

“Right, Heaven is moving against all the rebel Supremes and even managed to kill Origin Supreme and take his Doomsday Insignia. Do you think he knows?” Li Xuantu suddenly said, bringing up the matter of Origin Supreme.

Li Xuantu was extremely interested in the internal strife of the Celestial God Organization. His sharp intuition told him that this strife was perhaps their best and only chance to achieve victory.

“Luo Supreme isn’t as closed-up as you think. He’s just vastly restrained his operations so as to not attract the attention of outsiders. That doesn’t mean that he knows nothing about the outside world. I sense that he has always had spies on the outside, and his understanding of what’s going on is probably greater than we imagine.

“He probably already knows what happened to Origin Supreme,” Wang Chong said.

He sensed that Luo Supreme was much stronger than many of the Supremes, including Genesis Supreme. Judging by his actions over the past several hundred years, he was either truly weakening or was far more troublesome to deal with than imagined, and Wang Chong would lean more toward the latter.

After all, Heaven and Essence Supreme had chosen to deal with Origin Supreme first before dealing with Luo Supreme.

“If that’s true, it means that Luo Supreme has already made his preparations and will probably be even harder to find than usual.” Li Xuantu’s voice came from the halo divine tool.

Li Xuantu had never underestimated the Supremes. This trip to the steppe would probably be more difficult than anticipated.

Time was not on their side. Once Heaven succeeded, they would lose any hope of victory. Moreover, within the halo divine tool, Li Xuantu could tell that even though the several hundred people of the Wang Family Residence had been sealed, their condition was worsening.
