Purple Marquis raised his weapon, and all the fighters climbed up their mounts in unison. Their mount was a war beast with an ugly head that resembled a dragon. I wasn’t expecting Lin Yixin to use a mount like that to be her cavalry’s standard mount.
The Fruit Knife Goddess herself was still riding the low-rank Frostscythe Warhorse. Maybe the reason she didn’t change it was because she liked its appearance too much.
”Open the gate, Little Cheat!” Lin Yixin called out to me from the ground.
I nodded and opened the gate as she requested, and the 10000 Purple Dragon Cavalrymen rode out at high speed!

”When did you guys make the Purple Dragon Cavalry, Qingqing?” I asked Clear Perfume who was shooting next to me, ”Why haven’t I seen it during the Nation War?”
Clear Perfume answered, ”The Purple Dragon is a kind of earth dragon that we only really started to tame en masse during the two days after the Nation War ended. Purple Marquis and Zi Chuanyu barely slept a wink that whole time to complete the task. During the Nation War, we only had 2000 Purple Dragon Cavalrymen or so, so it wasn’t really big enough to play a major role. Also, we lost them all while clashing against the Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalry, which was why you didn’t see them.”
”It looks like a good mount…”
”Naturally!”
On the ground, the iron chains pulled the gate open, and countless Purple Dragon Cavalrymen rushed out to meet the enemy. Lin Yixin was at the forefront, activated the Great Earth Transformation and made herself look like a cyan lotus goddess. The moment she emerged, she immediately crashed Ice Flame Slash onto a group of enemies!
Boom!
The skill terrified the Hegemon Palace players, but that was just the beginning. Above her, a dark blue dragon swooped into the air, opened her mouth and burned a ton of enemies to death with her breath. Ice Dragon Kris was now Level 150, and it was incredibly huge. It might have looked like a big dog when it was curled up by Lin Yixin’s side, but on the battlefield, it was the equivalent of a nuke. It ravaged the enemies with three successive AoE skills, and it was as deadly as my Phantom Wolf King!
Behind Lin Yixin, Purple Marquis, Zi Chuanyu and the rest of the Purple Dragon Cavalry cut down all the enemies in their path. There was no one in Hegemon Palace who could put up a fight, not even against the weakened Lin Yixin. It wasn’t an unexpected sight, however. Lin Yixin had returned to Level 150 and over 80% of her original strength in just a week, and although her current equipment was nowhere near as strong as her old equipment, the downgrade was mitigated by the Devil Bell I gave her. The Cambrian-grade wristguards were literally peerless at the current stage of the game. In fact, her stats were on par with her old self already.

The gang grew restless after they saw Snowy Cathaya heading out to have fun. Eyes Like Water smiled a little at Stranger of Three Lifetimes and asked, ”Momo, can we…?”
The guild leader nodded. ”Go!”
”Hehe! Be seeing you!”
Eyes Like Water was so excited that she jumped right down the wall and summoned her mount. After she rallied the cavalry of Blazing Hot Lips, she too went out of the gates and attacked the enemies.
This time, it was Li Chengfeng’s turn to lose his patience. ”I want to go too!”
I nodded and said, ”No problem. I have an important mission for you!”
”Ooh, what mission?” Li Chengfeng’s eyes burned with excitement. ”Anything’s better than fucking boring wall defense! There are contribution points to be earned!”
I smiled. ”I want you to take 50k cavalry with you and exit the northern gate. Little Gui, High Fighting Spirits and me will be leading the Dragonlight Cavalry and 10k+ Cyan Tiger Cavalry and attack the enemy from the front. You will slip behind the enemy and trap them in a pincer. Let’s annihilate Hegemon Palace’s offense in one go.”
”Got it!”
Li Chengfeng happily accepted his orders and went away to rally his men. I gave him control over all the cavalry from the main and subguilds except the Dragonlight Cavalry and Cyan Tiger Cavalry. Li Chengfeng was now one of the four Divine Generals of China, and his level was higher than both Lin Yixin and me. The dragon warrior was probably the only one who was fit to become the guardian of Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls until I returned to Level 160.

Wall defense was extremely boring, especially when your opponent was an alliance of second-rate guilds like Hegemon Palace, Mad Dragon and Flower Room. Mad Dragon and Flower Room were second-rate for sure, and Hegemon Palace, while technically one of the Top 10 guilds of China, was really weaker than even Wei-Jin North-South Dynasties and Hunting Moon Dynasty in terms of overall strength. The only reason Pillar of the Nation’s joke of a guild got anywhere was due to a single man—Little Piglet!
Gui Guzi, Chaos Moon and High Fighting Spirits could barely restrain themselves at this point. They were all staring at me with hungry, bloodthirsty eyes and waiting for me to give the order.
This hot-headed bunch might just jump off the walls if I delayed any longer, so I said hurriedly, ”Alright, it’s time to head down the walls and rally the Dragonlight Cavalry and Cyan Tiger Cavalry!”
”Hell yeah!”
