Xia Nuan looked sad, and her eyes were blank. She reached out to Ye Enchen’s hand and put it on her chest, calling soulfully.

Xia Nuan nodded constantly, “Yeah, I’m sure you and Mrs. Ni will always be safe as long as you are a member of Yuezhao Organization. Yuezhao only cares about profit, and your fame and achievement can bring it more profits than the Allies could give…”

Shen An stared at the monitoring screen, and his anger raised gradually. He wanted to smash it, but on second thought, he tried hard to stabilize his mood.

He saved a short video of their hug in his flash drive, then he held it with a thoughtful look.

Xia Yan was exhausted when she went back to her flat. Zeng Guihua had waited in front of the door for a while. She took Xia Yan’s hands when she saw her.

“You finally got off work, Yan. I made something tasty and placed in your bedroom. Have your meal and take a break.” Zeng Guihua urged.

Xia Yan nodded and took off her coat, “You didn’t disclose where I am working, right? Mom?”

Zeng Guihua shook head to hide the panic in her eyes, and said, “No, I never told anyone.”

Xia Yan felt relieved, then nodded, “Got no idea how Nuan is doing at work. I heard that she’s back to Aoshi City. I want to see her.”

“Okay, of course you can. But it’s time to have a rest. Maybe later.”

Xia Yan went to her bedroom with an “Oh” sound. But when she opened the door, a scene shocked her. Ye Enchen and Xia Nuan hugged, sitting on the bed. He held her waist, murmuring beside her ear. And Xia Nuan did not resist him, leaning against his chest.

Xia Yan stunned and said nothing. She was frozen, like her bones were taken away.

Ye Enchen let Xia Nuan go when he saw Xia Yan. Xia Nuan fell down on the bed flabbily.

“You are back, Xia Yan.” Ye Enchen walked hard towards her with crutches. Xia Yan backed up, pretended nothing happened, and said indifferently, “Wrong room, sorry to bother you. Keep going.”

Xia Yan didn’t know that Xia Nuan was too drunk to regard Ye Enchen as Ye Sichen. She also didn’t know that Ye Enchen did this for stealing secrets.
