Wei Xiaoqing was eager to leave. She feared that Wei Guowei would implicate her if he were to make a move against Jiang Huifang.

She pretended to be obedient and nodded her head. ”Alright, dad, you should talk about it properly with mom.”

With that, Wei Xiaoqing walked out and even thoughtfully closed the door for them.

When Jiang Huifang saw Wei Xiaoqing close the door, she was shocked. Was this damn girl not afraid of Wei Guowei strangling her mother?

Jiang Huifang withdrew her hand in fear, as if there was poison on Wei Guowei's fingers. ”Don't make your words sound so good! Back then, Liang Lihua was also married to you for eleven years and even gave you two children! Didn't you just kill her like that? I won't believe your sweet words!”

Wei Guowei raised his hand and gently stroked Jiang Huifang's face. Suddenly, a meaningful smile appeared on his face. ”Don't worry. I won't divorce you.”

She opened the hidden compartment and saw a bottle of poison.

Jiang Huifang had only seen this thing once, but she had a deep impression of it. Therefore, she immediately recognized that it was the poison bottle Wei Guowei had used to poison Liang Lihua.

She never told anyone about it, not even Wei Guowei.

Fortunately, she knew it at that time. Otherwise, when Wei Guowei said he was going to change, she would not have known that he came in to get the poison!

As Jiang Huifang had expected, Wei Guowei actually opened a hidden compartment and took out the poison.

He then changed into a new set of clothes, stuffed the bottle into his pocket, and walked out as if nothing had happened.

Seeing Jiang Huifang staring at the cloakroom, he smiled indifferently. ”Just wait. I'll go down now and make you a delicious meal.”
