Chapter 31 (1/2)
Ning Huang is after all, came out from the same womb as the Crown Prince.
Their tempers were alike.
Looking at the Zhu WuXin lying on the bed, her eyes immediately turned red.
She held Zhu WuXin’s hand and asked, “WuXin meimei, do you still remember me? I am Ning Huang jiejie.”
[Translator note : I’ll stop holding on to the Sister term, and start using the chinese word instead. I think it sounds more natural.
For those who don’t know, Jiejie means Elder Sister while Meimei means younger sister.]
Zhu WuXin squeezed her hand a bit to signal that she remembered.
But actually, how does she know who on Earth is this onion ah.
She was actually concentrating her whole body’s focus to the movement outside.
Ning Huang rubbed her eyes a bit, not staying inside any longer and rushed out shouting, “Father, how can you do that to her!”
Turning his head to Ning Huang, the Crown Prince asked, “You knew her?”
“I do. I met her once when I just married into Zhu House. She is always getting bullied.”
“I remember back then she was still very small. Now she has grown into a big girl.”
Saying up to this point, she turned to look at Zhu Hou, “Father, how did you promised me back then?”
“You said you won’t let her get bullied again, so how do you explain this?”
Zhu Mo frowned, family shame must not be spread outside[1].
He does not want Ning Huang to be involved in the conflict between Zhu Hou and Zhu WuXin.
Walking up to the front, he pulled Ning Huang away but she heavily shook away his hand.
“Zhu Mo, do you still remember how did you replied me when I asked you where did WuXin went to?”
“You said she was married to a great family, living well and happily.”
“You go and see for yourself, the condition she is in right now, is this your so-called happiness?”
“Ning Huang, I…..”
Ning Huang interrupted his words. “Zhu Mo, Benw.a.n.g has considered ‘seen both of you father and son wrongly.’[2]“
Finis.h.i.+ng her words, Ning Huang didn’t look at them anymore and turned to the Crown Prince, “Brother, we immediately go back to the palace to get her some treatments.”
He nodded, and helped Ning Huang put on her coat then packed up to leave.
