Twenty-four hours later, Arima and Night woke up at the same time like they set an alarm.

Arima yawned and looked around a bit, he realized he was laying against the wall with a blanket on him, he was also more healed than he thought he would be. Night also saw that, and he himself, although he was in a dragon form, was placed in a more comfortable position and his scales were washed.

Arima spotted Lanya sleeping in a corner and chuckled a bit as he stood up. Night retuned to being a wolf, being smaller is more comfortable sometimes.

Arima and Night sat in front of each other ”So? What happened?” The latter asked

Arima scratched his head ”I have an idea” He said and looked strangely at ground ”First of all, that thing was aiming at me because I released my killing intent, obviously, meaning that someone or something sensed it and decided to eliminate me” he continued

Night quietly listened

”Now here's the important part” Arima became serious ”Chronepsis told me that I would be chased by G.o.ds, Heavenly G.o.ds and Earthen G.o.ds. The Heavenly G.o.ds are most likely the same as the one who sent me in this world after my death” He said, of course, Nighty already knew that Arima was from another world

”As for the Earthen G.o.ds, it's most likely something like that” He said and pointed to the ground with his thumb ”Pure mana”

Night followed his finger and instantly understood ”Are you saying that this planet just attacked you by attraction an asteroid?” He asked

”No, that's not this one. That thing wouldn't attract something that could destroy and kill everything on its surface. I saw it last time, the spirit inhabiting the planet is really protective” Arima explained ”I think that some other Earthen G.o.d just attacked me” He said

”Hey, are you saying that another planet just tried to kill you” Arima frowned ”You're sure of that?”

”It may not be a planet, it may be something else, but the remnants of mana I felt on the last part I sent away, was without a doubt a 100% pure” He said

Night took a few seconds to process the information ”How do we act now?” He finally asked ”If you're still alive, won't he try to kill you one more time? Sorry, but I can't keep destroying meteorites indefinitely”

”I don't think that's a problem, as long as I keep my killing intent from now on, it should be alright. I presume that he knew I was here just because he felt it. Now, he must be thinking that he killed me. I don't think he will be able to sense me one more time without my killing intent, because we're too small for him” Arima said with a strange smile

Night furrowed ”You're planning something aren't you?”

Arima laughed lightly ”I need to become stronger, for now, 'Life Hunt' is the best way I have” He grinned ”I can't use it on the guy we're standing on but I can most likely do it for the guy who tried to kill me along with billions of people” He said

”What?” Night was startled ”Are you saying that you want to steal the life force of an Earthen G.o.d?”

”Why not? He began hostilities first” Arima smirked

Night sighed heavily. Arima looked at a corner ”Why don't you stop faking and just say 'Good morning'” Arima smiled and said

Lanya trembled, she slowly opened her eyes and sit down properly ”…Good evening” She said a little fl.u.s.tered

”Mh?” Arima was surprised ”Ah, sorry, yeah it's night time, I forgot. Anyway, don't you want to join the conversation?”

Lanya shook her head ”That's okay, but I have something to say” Sha said and looked at Arima ”For me, you were targeted, I'm sorry” And apologized

”Don't worry, you don't have to feel sorry for that. I would have done it someday anyway, also don't be sorry when I did it that way just because I was too lazy to do it otherwise” Arima said

Lanya bitterly laughed ”Thank you” She said

”Good” Arima stood up and stretched a bit ”Let's go, we still have to finish our job in the undead zone” He said

”Wait, you're still not fully healed!” Lanya was a bit agitated

Arima looked at her ”What are you talking about? It's you who have to fight for now” He smiled and said
