Leng Ao Tian's face darkened. After a long while, he finally said: ”Besides me, who else knows about this?”

Lady Xu answered, ”Leng Lie knows.”

”Other than me and Leng Lie, don't tell anyone else about this matter.”

”Understood.”

Lady Xu immediately relaxed. From Leng Ao Tian's actions, she knew that Leng Ao Tian was more inclined towards Leng Lie.

Leng Ao Tian had chosen to make Lady Xu feel wronged in order to maintain the relationship between the two brothers. Leng Yuan had always fought unwittingly for the right to inheritance.

They were the two women, Xu Yanmei and Lu Yun. They were just stirring up trouble everywhere. If Leng Yuan had not taken the initiative to fight for this, then Leng Ao Tian would have been much less troubled.

”Father, if there's nothing else, then I'll be going out.”

”En!” Xu Jia walked out of the room.

When it was time for dinner, Leng Ao Tian treated Lady Xu very well. He always talked to her at the dinner table, even asking her to eat more.

This confused Xu Yanmei and Lu Yun. When the other servants saw the scene in front of them, they also became depressed.

All of them thought that the old master definitely disliked Lady Xu because of the poison. Thus, they rolled their eyes at her previously.

But now, the old master was so good to the eldest young mistress.

If Eldest Young Mistress were to suddenly rise to prominence, then their days would not be so good.

Leng Ao Tian's sharp eyes swept across the servants with different expressions, and could not help but laugh in his heart. He had seen what these servants had done in the past, and it was just that it was inconvenient for him to reprimand them. The reason why Leng AoTian did that was so that Lady Xu would no longer be bullied by these servants.

The dining table was very strange. Xu Yanmei and Lu Yanyun were not at ease. The sudden change that happened in the Icily Arrogant Heavens caused them to feel extremely uneasy.

After the meal, Leng Ao Tian asked Leng Yuan to stay behind. Leng Yuan did not know why, but he ended up getting angry.

Seeing her father-in-law's rage, Lady Xu's palms were drenched.

It was not a good idea to stay here any longer. Lady Xu also did not have any good intentions, so she directly went upstairs.

The corners of Lady Xu's mouth curled up, her bright eyes started to move, ”I know I was wrong.”

Leng Lie scratched his head irritably. Why was this woman becoming more and more difficult to deal with?

Not wanting to continue with his nonsense, Leng Lie carried Lady Xu on his shoulder. The door was kicked open with a bang, causing Lady Xu's heart to tremble.

What did this man want to do?

”Leng Lie, don't act recklessly.” Xu Jie's neck shrunk as she stared at Leng Lie with a flustered and defensive look.

His sister-in-law had suffered because of this, so he didn't want to go. After knowing about this, he wanted to bring his wife to apologize to her, but his father wouldn't let him tell others about this, even if it was his wife.

It was for this reason that Leng Yuan felt extremely guilty towards Lady Xu.

He then stood up and walked towards Lady Xu, causing her to retreat. ”Don't come near me …”
