Their words fell on deaf ears. Shen Biru was not paying them any heed at all no matter how hard they try to call out for her name.

Due to her panic, Shen Biru can not think straight anymore. Panic clouded her rationality as more vines tried to pull her. They seem to become more aggressive, eager to send her to her early demise.

Some vines even started aiming at her neck to strangle her, almost cutting all the oxygen from coming in. If this was allowed to go on, it will just only take a matter of time before she dies of asphyxiation.

All she wanted to do now is to escape as soon as possible. Before the vines could further wrapped all around her body and swallow her whole.

”Shen Biru! Hey! Look at me! Listen... This is not the time for you to panic. The more you panic, the more you are putting yourself in danger....”

Amidst the frantic shouts and incomprehensible words uttered by the warlocks before her, Shen Biru managed to single out Su Yan's voice.

She wanted to answer back but the vines were gripping on her throat rendering her incapable of uttering a single word.

Shen Biru's eyes swam with tears as she tries hard to calm herself. She bit her cheek and this brought her the metallic taste of her own blood.

The pain helps her to retain her mangled sense of consciousness and makes her a little bit clear-headed.

Gathering all her courage, she stops resisting and let the vines to make its way all over her body. Soon, the vines block her view as it also covered her face. Shen Biru just closed her eyes and surrender to her fate.

'Bro Yan is right, I trust his words... It is not the time for me to panic. Bro Yan cares for me. I should not make him worry.'

She keeps on repeating this same thought in her mind. Like an audio cassette played in a loop, Shen Biru let Su Yan's words to keep running on her mind.

On the other hand, watching how Shen Biru's body becomes completely swallowed by the tree, the group stood unmoving on the spot.

They, as well, held their breath as they wish Shen Biru can make it. They do want to help, but they know that there is nothing they can do.

They will just worsen the situation if they will try to forcefully barge in and interfere. Only Shen Biru could save herself.
