When Fang Zhihan returned at night, he could clearly see that Yu Gangan wasn’t feeling too well. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed and she looked depressed and deep in thought.

He walked over to her and touched her on the forehead, “Are you ill?”

Yu Gangan shook her head, “No…”

Ever since she saw the information about her and her teacher, she became quite unsettled. She wasn’t sure whether she should pretend that she didn’t see a thing or directly ask him about it.

But, she was never one to beat around the bush; she believed it was better to be honest about some things.

“Can you tell me what this is?” Yu Gangan eventually placed the photos and documents on the coffee table.

Fang Zhihan was not surprised.

His tall and upright body looked cold and white underneath the lighting, making him appear extra deep and unpredictable.

He remained silent for a while, forcing Yu Gangan to question him further, “Don’t you have anything to say to me?”

For example, wasn’t he going to explain why he was investigating her and her teacher? She had asked him to investigate her teacher’s whereabouts, but why did he investigate her as well? And why did the investigations start before her teacher even went missing?

Fang Zhihan approached and sat down beside her, “I won’t hurt you and your teacher.”

His cold voice was serious and solemn.

Yu Gangan blinked her eyes.

She was sure that Fang Zhihan wouldn’t hurt her and she was aware that he treated her well; he treated her so well that she often felt like they were really a married couple.

In fact, they felt like an old married couple.

But…

Yu Gangan pursed her lips and asked the question that bothered her the most, “Does my teacher’s disappearance have anything to do with you?”

“No. I also want to know where your teacher went. I also want to find him,” Fang Zhihan replied.
