Zhang Sa was shocked.

Yu Gangan nodded her head, “He must have taken something that has a strong effect on his nervous system. This medicine must only target the nervous system and have little side-effects. So, even though it can’t be detected in his bloodstream, the toxicity has been accumulating in his body and slowly damaging his nerves.”

“What medicine has uncle been taking?” Zhang Sa immediately asked her auntie.

Auntie Zhang replied in a panic, “Just some Chinese medicine that you prescribed for replenishing the body. He stopped taking his Western medicine after he recovered.”

“Do you have any left over?” Yu Gangan asked.

“No,” Auntie Zhang said as she shook her head.

Yu Gangan pulled out a pen and paper and started writing two prescriptions for Zhang Sa, “One is to be applied, the other is to be taken. I’m sure you know how to prepare it. Give it a try and see how he goes. If there is anything strange with his pulse, you can always contact me.”

Zhang Sa received the prescriptions and nodded her head, “OK.”

“Don’t worry. I can’t guarantee that your uncle will be completely cured, but I can promise that he won’t get any worse,” Yu Gangan comforted.

Zhang Sa smiled.

Auntie Zhang also looked at Yu Gangan thankfully.

By the time Yu Gangan left Zhang Sa’s home, it was already noon.

Zhang Sa invited the couple to stay for lunch, but Yu Gangan didn’t want to trouble them. After all, they still needed to care for Uncle Zhang. So, she rejected the offer.

Fang Zhihan ended up taking her to a French restaurant where they ordered two steaks and two desserts.

The restaurant was quiet. All that could be heard were the sounds of forks and knives.

Normally, Yu Gangan was quite talkative, but she was silent today. She was busy thinking about the correlation between her teacher, the medical records and Zhang Sa’s uncle.

Yu Gangan never expected that Zhang Sa’s uncle would be one of the people in the medical records that her teacher collected.
