So, even though Yu Gangan clearly remembered that Ye Xi was next to her, Ye Xi was gone when she turned around.

She gave Ye Xi a phone call, but he did not pick up. He simply replied with a message, “Sis, I’m gone. I have no face to see you.”

Yu Gangan placed some freshly cooked lamb and beef into her bowl, “Eat more.”

Song Chabai chowed down happily, “Of course. Before I arrived, I already decided that I would eat, at least, five plates of meat. These two plates aren’t enough to even fill the gaps between my teeth.”

“If it’s not enough then order more until you’re satisfied.”

“Come, you eat some too,” Song Chabai grabbed two pieces of lamb for Yu Gangan.

It was cold and raining outside. As the two women sat around the simmering hot pot, sipping prune juice with their meal, the vibe was certainly unique.

The two women began to chat and Song Chabai soon asked nosily, “How are things going between you and Fang Zhihan?”
