50 Android Saga Begins (1/2)

Chichi was finally happy to be in a martial arts family. Now she was even pushing Gohan to train harder and gain even more fame so more people would join their dojo.

There wasn't much they could teach them in just 4 days. They had just begun to teach some basic training and work on their bodies. Like carrying weights and running laps around Mt. Paozu.

Mt. Paozu had many scary beasts and giant dinosaurs roaming. During their first day of running laps, all the adults were screaming their lungs off, while the juniors were crying an ocean filled with tears. Videl was even snatched by a pterodactyl, Gohan jumped up and knocked down the pterodactyl and carried Videl down. It wasn't in the Saiyan's nature to waste food, they took a short break and roasted the big pterodactyl.

Along the way, they met numerous beasts and dinosaurs, some were friends with Icarus and Gohan and even came forward to gently rub Gohan.

Before they knew it, it was already time to fight the androids.

Raditz, Goku, Gohan and Piccolo flew to an island 9 kilometers southwest of South City. The time was 9 o'clock, one hour before the androids would attack the city on the island.

Raditz's group wasn't the first to arrive, Bulma, Yamcha, Krillin and Vegeta were already there. Bulma came because she was interested in seeing the androids. As a scientist herself, how could she not want to see an android created by Dr. Gero. And one that is so overwhelmingly powerful that even Future Trunks who is a Super Saiyan could not defeat.

After waiting for a bit, Tien Shinhan and Nappa arrived. Vegeta stared with hostility at them, seemingly wanting to take revenge for his loss against Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, as for Nappa, he was likely still angry over his betrayal.

”Hey, Krillin. You don't look well. What's wrong?” Goku greeted cheerfully.

”Tien Shinhan, where is Chiaotzu?” Gohan asked.

”I left him out, he isn't ready for a fight like this.” said Tien Shinhan.

The Z Team waited until it was 10 o'clock. Yajirobe came flying in a hovercar.

”Here, I brought you guys some senzu beans from Sage Korin.” Yajirobe handed over a cloth bag filled with some senzu beans to Goku.

”Wow, thanks a bunch! Give my regards to Korin.” Goku said happily.

”Well, have fun.” Yajirobe jumped back into his car.

”Huh? Hey, Yajirobe aren't you going to fight?” Goku asked a foolish question.

”Unlike you idiots, I'm not suicidal. As if I'm going to stick around with you guys!” Yajirobe turned on the engine and flew away.

”Seriously. Goku you want to kill that fatty? He is only stronger than that Satan guy...” Raditz said.

”Ahahaha! Is that so? That's true, his Ki is too weak. Yajirobe, that fellow has been skipping training ever since we fought King Piccolo.” Goku laughed foolishly and scratched his head.

Boom! Yajirobe's hovercar that had flown a fair distance exploded and crashed in the sea. Two tiny black dots hovered next to the explosion before flying down to the city below.

”Yajirobe!” Gohan yelled.

”Huh... That looks familiar...” Raditz muttered.

The group was shocked that they could not sense those two's Ki.

”They don't have any Ki because they are androids.” Gohan assumed.

Krillin went to check on Yajirobe since they could still sense his Ki, he wasn't dead at least. Goku left the senzu beans with Bulma.

”That's a good idea, lest they get ruined in battle.” Raditz nodded his head.

The rest of the Z Team spread out and landed in the city. Since they could not sense the androids' Ki, they would have to rely on their eyes.

Raditz assumed the two androids were Dr. Gero and #19 and not #17 and #18. So he wasn't in a hurry to find them and just leisurely walked around the streets.

”Hey! Isn't that Raditz? The Champion of the 24th WMA?” People recognized Raditz and started gossiping.

”Raditz! Please can I have a picture with you?” A young man shouted.

”Can I have your autograph?” A young girl waved a piece of paper.

Raditz was pretty free so he cooperated. After everyone left, Raditz even went and bought an ice cream cone.

Similar scenes happened to Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Tien Shinhan. All of them had shined during the WMA and gained some fame.

After a while, Yamcha's Ki dropped so drastically that everyone knew something had happened to him. Everyone hurriedly flew to Yamcha.

Only Raditz who was still eating his ice cream cone looked a bit out of place.

Yamcha was lying on the ground with an arm thick hole in his stomach.

”I'll bring back and feed him a senzu bean.” Raditz held the ice cream cone in one hand and grabbed Yamcha with his other hand and flew away.
