Chapter 17:That Scum Was Not Worthy of Her Tears (2/2)
Tang Yurou was attractive and gorgeous. Although she was two years older than Tang Xinyan, she was better at acting coy. She could make any man fall for her with just one look or a gentle smile.
Tang Xinyan was used to being independent. She was no match for Tang Yurou in that aspect.
After Fu Sichen walked into the lobby, he walked straight toward Tang Yurou and did not notice Tang Xinyan who was standing at the corner, blocked by a pot of plants.
After Tang Yurou parted with her sisters, she snuggled into Fu Sichen's arms. Before they left the lobby, she tiptoed and gave the corner of Fu Sichen's lips a kiss, ”Sichen, you're so sweet, thank you for coming to fetch me.” Then, she caught a glimpse of a slender figure standing like a statue at the corner.
Although Tang Xinyan had the family background that was able to marry into the Fu family, was Tang Yurou not able to take her career and husband away from her?
She had always wanted to witness Tang Xinyan's sorrowful expression when she failed in everything in her life!
Tang Xinyan only came out of the corner after their figures had disappeared from her sight.
She could not erase all her feelings for Fu Sichen in just a few days' time, but she would completely remove him from her heart as soon as possible.
That shameless man was not worthy of her tears and despair!
Although she could understand that, tears welled up in her eyes when she saw him holding an umbrella for Tang Yurou and opening the car door for her.
Back when they were a couple, he was caring and gentle to her too.
Time had gone by and things failed to stay the same.
Without her realizing it, the drizzle had changed into a heavy downpour.
As if she could not feel the cold, Tang Xinyan rushed out into the rain with that petite figure of hers. It did not take long for her to be soaking wet.
The sky was dark and gloomy. There were puddles of water on the road. One of Tang Xinyan's heels accidentally got stuck in the gap of a drain cover.
She tried pulling it a few times, but she could not get it out.
