Right after taking a few steps, the doorbell rang.

It was rare for anyone to pay her a visit, except for the Fus.

When Mo Chiwei's lean finger was about to touch the carved doorknob, Tang Xinyan ran toward him and grabbed his arm. She signalled for him to not open the door with her eyes.

Mo Chiwei flung her hands away with a frosty look as if he did not catch the look on her face, and his lean hand was about to grab the doorknob again.

Seeing that, Tang Xinyan grabbed hold of his arm immediately and dragged him into the living room by force.

The doorbell was still ringing non-stop.

At the same time, Fu Sichen's infuriated voice sounded, ”Tang Xinyan, I know you're home. I do not have the key with me, open the door now!”

Tang Xinyan heard Fu Sichen's voice and her heart pounded.

Was he not together with Tang Yurou? Why did he come here suddenly?

If he were to see Mo Chiwei, she would not be able to prove her innocence anymore.
