Mo Lingtan was right, Father Li never understood his son until he left him. Now that Li Yan was not here, Father Li realized how much effort his son had put into the Li Corporation that even without the help from the Lin Family, Li Corporation would have survived.

However, there was no end to greed.

Father Li wanted much more than what he was getting from his son. However, now his family had left him and he was only left with the Li Corporation which was on the edge of a breakdown.

Li Corporation was the result of his blood and sweat while he was proud of his family even though he never showed it. However, because of his greed, he had lost everything he was once proud of.

Father Li came here to get Mo Lingtan's help as the Mo Family and the Li Family were very good friends while Mo Lingtan and Li Yan were best friends. However, now Father Li didn't have words to say anything further.

If he still asked for Mo Lingtan's help, it would clearly mean that he didn't value his son, his wife, and his family. While the fact was since they had left him he had started to value them which he failed to do so in the past thirty years.

Someone has correctly said that 'Person values things only when he loses them.'

Though Father Li had dropped his intention to ask for help, it didn't mean that Mo Lingtan didn't know the purpose of Father Li's visit and he decided to address the fact, ”I have a message from Li Yan for you. He knew that once he left, the Lin Family would pull out their investment from the Li Corporation. Therefore, he had already arranged for another investor for Li Corporation. The new investor would contact you soon. As far as Aunty Sin's matter is concerned, you don't have to worry about her. She is living a very HAPPY life with her son. Now I think your biggest problem has been solved and that's where Li Yan has done his duty to be your son.”

Father Li widened his eyes in shock, absolutely gobsmacked after realizing the fact that his wife was living with Li Yan. Since Mother Li had left him, he was having many bad dreams that he started to have a fear of sleeping. Now that he knew that his wife was safe and a hurtful thing to him, she was living happily with their son. He couldn't decide whether he should be happy for her being safe or angry at her for leaving him alone.

Nevertheless, he brought it upon himself.

”Tell me where is he?” Father Li asked as now nothing was more important to him than to meet his family again.
