9 09.The magic is there,is it? (1/2)

I smelled the sea even when we were in the room,but when went out the light breeze brought so many more tastes.I could smell the sea ,the purity of the air and even the trees .Is it because there was no settlements,no humans and no pollution that this amazing air felt so purifying.

We slowly walked toward the forest.By the way.We took our shoes off before we want there.I mean all that sand would get in and then we would just waste time getting it out of our shoes and clothes.

The sand felt warm under the feet.It felt so comfortable.

While wearing backpacks on our backs, the shoes in our hands we still didn't feel uncomfortable in any way.When we got close to the spot where our cats were waiting we stopped for min.I turned around and saw the gate to my room.But then I turned the head around and looked toward the sea.

The ''sky''was blu-ish gray but it was still beautiful.In the sky, I could see some birds flying.The sea had a beautiful green blue hue.The waves hit in a calm manner the few rocks that were protruding out of the sea.The whole sight made it feel so unreal.

I turned around and we approached the forest.The trees near the beach were all kind of palm trees and banana trees.I could even see all kind of other southern trees and plants.We put our socks and shoes on and went straight into the forest.

The cats went in front of us as to show us the proper path.I just hoped to find the creek so we could follow it.Our little group slowly went forward but because there were not many bushes on our way, we had an almost clear path.Or just cats led us nicely.

The trees were from various plants so we picked up some and eat as we walked.Even the bushes were the one we knew and were edible.This is strange by itself.How comes these fruits came here...

After about two hrs of a stroll, we arrived at the creek.We didn't walk fast.We just enjoyed the view so we were slow.When we arrived at the creek I took out the test tube to check if the water was drinkable. The test shortly showed any kind of heavy metals or bacteria that we could test at it.So we just drank water straight from the creek.The taste was so refreshing and invigorating Clearly felt like I could walk more.Din't feel tired at all.

''Kids,do you feel tired?Do you need to rest? I asked while feeling full of energy.

''Actually we wanted to know the same.If you want we could rest for a while.I actually feel quite refreshed from the water we drank. Like the kick from the energy drink.Strange.''she said while her boyfriend nodded the head.

''I actually feel the same.When I drunk it I felt so refreshed,it felt like battery refill.It is ok even this way.Lets continue.The air is refreshing,the water is invigorating and the fruits are refilling. What more can we ask for?''I said while already preparing for a walk.I looked at the creek and it seemed not so deep because it was as clear as glass.You could see all kind of aquatic creatures swimming ,crawling and floating around.

''Lets catch some fishes for lunch.The kitties will need some real food as well.''I said while walking slowly by the stream.The creek seems to be shallow but it could be an illusion.I will find out later anyway when we get to rest.

I looked at the watch and it was already 10.30 am.We walked already for over two hrs but the strange thing is...I didn't sweat or feel tired.This is the first time I don't feel any tiredness after such a walk.

The creek didn't go straight through forest.It had its twists and turns,but the riverside was flat.I guess we won't see any slopes as it seemed that the whole place is flat.It was easy to walk like that and we went quite a while.

Around midday, we felt hungry and we tried to find a place that could let us rest for while.Strange thing.We walked since this morning but none of felt a bit tired.While walking none of us spoke as we listened to surroundings just in case of some danger.The only sound we could hear is some birds chirping and calling and leaves in the wind.I realized..no flies or mosquitoes.

I mean,we are in mid of forest and near water we should hear some buzzing around us...but nothing.

I stared at the creek and asked myself what do fishes eat if there were no insect or insect larvae.Not only that ...what do the birds eat if there are no flies or mosquitoes?

While wondering I walked slowly and right around the corner I saw something like an extension of the coast ... A bit larger river bank.We choose to have lunch here.
