”Thinking of your love?” came his voice.

His words not only brought her back from her spell but also cast a new spell on her. Did the feeling she has for Ares have really transformed themselves into love?

If it did then she wouldn't be surprised. After all it was love at first sight for her. Ares would be the quintessential match that any woman would want. He was gentle, handsome, caring and smart. And from the first time that she saw him she knew that her heart had started beating to a new rhythm. Every time her eyes met with him, they would be captivated. And the way he ensured that she would be kept safe, he felt like a guardian.

But did he too think the same way about her? Did he love her?

Maybe not.

After all she was no one. The few days that she was living here she got to know many people. And all of them were outstanding!

They were all talented or beautiful or smart. But she was neither. Not only here, even back at home she was a no one.

Because of her father's paranoia she had to leave high school. She was not striking, just your average beauty. And she was no genius. So she was just a good for nothing high school dropout.

That is why maybe it was not really love.

It just an act of kindness.

If it was kindness then it would be better if she wouldn't jump to conclusions.
