Chapter 33 – We Belong In Different Worlds (4)
She received text notifications on Weibo.
Yu Yang, “You take care. He’s already gone, but we still need to move on. I will take you out when we get a chance.”
Su Yang, “Don’t be too sad. Boss Fu is gone, but I trust that he will continue to look after you and protect you from afar.”
Zhao Chen, “Miss Yu. Do you have some time to meet? I know a fairly good place that I think you’d like.”
Yu Duo shuddered. What Su Yang said gave her goosebumps.
She replied some pleasantries and set her phone aside. Locking her room door behind her, she found the credit card that Fu Sinian had given her some three years ago.
When Fu Sinian has given her the card, he told her to spend it however she liked. Of course, Yu Duo never did that. She was supposed to be desire-free Chinese dodder that couldn’t live without Fu Sinian. In order to maintain her image of someone who didn’t care about money or materialistic goods, she had barely used that credit card except for buying birthday gifts for Fu Sinian.
Granted, she was sure that Fu Sinian tracked every penny charged on that card.
How could Fu Sinian not be happy having such a well-behaved wife who loved him more than anything else and only know to buy him gifts?
With the credit card in hand, Yu Duo kissed it excitedly.
“Just you wait, we’ll go on a shopping trip in Paris tomorrow!”
Standing right at the door was Fu Sinian, who Yu Duo was so certain had already went to reincarnate. Coldly, he looked at Yu Duo’s true colors exposing themselves after his death without any reservations.
Anything else he found out about her would not surprise him anymore.
He had seen so much that he had already accepted the truth.
Yu Duo had been very good and pleasing in the past three years, and the days had been good. He hadn’t had to worry about anything at home, and he didn’t mind continue spoiling her.
From what he had seen so far, he thought he had it all planned, and he had been so proud of himself. But, in the end, he was fooled by that simple-looking wife of his.
