Chapter 91: A yandere wife can not be four of a kind disciple? (1/2)

It was morning already.

Though Kyoya couldn't really tell due to his location, the game system had a clock below the minimap. The night was a calm one with his yandere wife hugging him tightly as she slept. It was as if Kyoya had the best blanket, fluffy and soft.

And his arms wrapped around Xaya had been providing enough warmth until both of them woke up.

”Good morning, husband!”

”Good morning. I want to stay like that for a little while.”

”Me too~~”

Xaya hummed, then returned to sniffing her husband. While her little nose was going all around his chest, Kyoya turned his eyes to the new option that was born out due to his first disciple and the trickster god's card.

It was the disciple system.

Since Josef is not aware that the trickster god's divine energy has tricked him and planted itself deep within his body, Kyoya got the first disciple in not an appropriate way. It meant that he is not getting the full benefits out of this system.

But that's just the beginning and so Kyoya was fine with it.

He also didn't know that at least half of the current trickster gods had done similar things. They tricked the first disciples to become theirs. Of course, they did it appropriately, didn't they? Not only they tricked like the gods they were, but they also caused mischief that brought the delight out of their origins.

Kyoya himself was just beginning to feel that delight… The delight of tricking others and beating them when they least expect his knives or cards! He no longer pranks his wife though. Her title is just too dangerous for now!

'Trickster God's divine energy… Isn't it too strong?'

Though Kyoya was not aware of the system that gods use, shouldn't the god feel when their disciple begins a new belief or splits it? Kyoya had such a question within his mind, but despite knowing the risk, he still went for it!

The reason for that was simple.

'Because this is the low world pillar, the divine powers are weak and not the primary focus of the gods.'

The gods have a lot of pillars where their divinities get nurtured by believers. Then, some disciples act in the place of god when it comes to communicating.

Lord Aron is one of the new gods, so Kyoya had even more risks due to Lord speaking with everyone personally during the divine oracles.

'And I, who have the divine power, have advantage… It should be like that…'

There are ranks for each god, but from the tone that Xaya's father had used before, Kyoya could tell that Trickster Gods weren't the problem, at least to him who governs over the death and souls.

'Either way, it's safe to get disciples and nurture the power.'

There was nothing to reap from the first disciple though. Due to his trickery and Kyoya not revealing his status, Josef could only gather the divine energy from him when he uses his belief.

How could he use it during sleep?

'A normal disciple is fine.'

The disciple system has revealed information about Josef. It was his name, age, body characteristics, and other stuff that would violate his privacy. There was an image of Josef attached to the side of this information.

Of course, the belief of Josef and his skills were also here.

It was because of that message. Was it because of Kyoya's convincing tone or his amiable stance from the very beginning? They were already friends just from their teamwork and small exchanges, at least Kyoya thought so.

And now, the game system confirmed it. But it was still rather a trust that shouldn't appear on the adventurer. Even more, on the adventurer who works solo and steals the origins and other valuable presents of nature.
