Chapter 116 - 116: Sky Emperor University (1/2)

Lillie usually had no time to spare because of her tight schedule, but since mother Bai 'insisted', she really had no choice but to oblige.

It's not like she's afraid of her mother—maybe a bit—she just won't stop until she (Lillie) agrees to her wishes.

Currently, she was in front of Gabriel's school, which was also her alma mater, Sky Emperor University [1]. Lillie did not bother altering her hair color to be identified as the former Student Council President, Theodora Crevier.

She rolled down her car's tinted windows and let the security officers inspect it.

A middle aged officer scrunched his face, studying Lillie's face before exclaiming, ”Miss Theodora?”

”Old Shu, good to see you again.” Lillie replied with a polite greeting. Old Shu gave her a kind smile, tipping his hat.

”I see you've dyed your hair. I almost didn't recognized you! You look lovely as always.”

”Thank you.” Lillie did not correct him.

”Are you here to ask for school paperworks?”

”No. I'm here to visit my brother.”

”Ah, alright then. I will not hold you much longer. Good day, miss.”

When Lillie drove off, Old Shu was asked by his co-workers who she was. He only needed to mention a name before they nodded.

”Eh? Is there a male student with a surname Crevier here?”

”Now that you mentioned it, there's no one.”

”Since the surname Crevier belongs to a former student, I'm sure we'll know whoever it was but...”

”But there is no one.”

The security officers gave each other a confused look.

A pair of bright blue eyes stares dully at the white board that was scribbled with numbers and formulas he begrudgingly 'need' to learn.

Gabriel's head was bobbing forward from time-to-time but forced himself to focus on the white board. Dark bags hung at the bottom of his droopy eyes.

He let out a soft yawn as he let his chin rest on his palm. The pen on his hand was forgotten on the table, finally deciding to screw it! He needs sleep!

When his eyes were about to close, a loud thump pierced his eardrums, jolting him awake from his seat.
