Shinji held his sword in its sealed form, as it resembles a normal katana. The hilt and sheath are red, and its guard is shaped like an hourglass.

With his release, his sword changed and it surprised everyone as none had seen him using it before...

But the most affected one was the Vizards since they knew that he wanted to keep it hidden and use it on Aizen...

Hiyori: ”That shitting Shinji!!! What the fuck is he doing!!!”

Lisa: ”He is doing what everyone should be doing... Going all out...”

Lisa: ”He has decided that even with his mask he won't be able to beat Kaname in this form...”

Hiyori: ”Che... Let's go to our next target!!!”

Lisa: ”That blue-haired over there seems dangerous...”

Shinji's sword, in its Shikai state, the pommel becomes a large ring that allows Sakanade to rotate around Shinji's hand without him actually gripping any part of the Zanpakuto.

This movement seems to relate to his sword's special ability as it confused Tosen why it rotates on it's own.

The first few inches of the blade are covered by an extension of the cross-guard.

Sakanade's blade is straight and slim, with the tip ending in a slanted razor-like edge instead of being tapered to a point.

There are also five holes along the sword's length.

Kaname: ”No matter it will be useless either way...”

Shinji: ”Why don't you try and fight then...”

Shinji vanished from his position as he used shunpo and before Kaname knew it he was in front of him as he slashed down at his arms...

Kaname tried to block it and just as the blades touched his hands Shinji vanished again, he then felt a sharp pain in his back as a large wound opened up with blood dripping from him...

He turned around and saw Shinji standing there with the sword rotating in his hand...

Kaname: ”What did you do??”

Shinji: ”Try and find out...”
