Chapter 16 (2/2)

It should be known that none of the people who were wanted had survived until now. None of them were spared. It seemed that the leader was really angry this time.

The black-robed man had something else to say.

“All Black Angels, move out and make up for your mistakes!”

Then, he said to the fat man below.

“Since you can’t even do such a small thing then go to the laboratory and be a test subject. You can even make use of the waste.”

The fat man instantly cried and kept begging for mercy but the leader didn’t even look at him. Until the fat man was dragged away, the people around him didn’t plead for mercy because if they were useless, they would end up like this too.

As the black-robed man walked into the shadows, the hall once again became empty.

When Weiss returned home, he took a shower and slept. After all, there were so many life and death battles in one night that no one could stand it.

In a daze, he heard someone calling his name. Weiss opened his eyes groggily and realized it was his sister, Alice.

He could not help but fall asleep.

Alice immediately said angrily.

“If you don’t come home at night and come back to sleep during the day. Do you still see me as your sister?”

Weiss propped himself up on his bed and said reassuringly.

“I’m just doing something out here. What time is it?”

Alice replied.

“It’s already 8 PM.”

Weiss thought for a moment that he had forgotten something.

Oh no, it was Elena’s birthday party. Weiss quickly tidied himself up and borrowed an evening gown from the butler. He grabbed the Ocean’s Heart and drove to Elena’s house.

Elena’s house was in the outskirts of New York City. It was a huge manor that paled in comparison to the Weiss’s villa.

The most noticeable part was the huge football field and even the audience seats.

The family hired thousands of servants to take care of Elena and her father’s daily needs and the maintenance of the manor.

No matter how he thought about it, he knew that Elena was born with a golden spoon in her mouth. Why would she go to public high school?

It had to be said that Weiss was curious about Alina. There was also her father, a legendary figure in New York City. He had started his career as a gang leader, then successfully cleared his name and became an influential figure in New York City. There were countless legends about him and he was even a living legend!

Weiss rushed to Elena’s house in a hurry. The manor was already filled with all kinds of luxury cars and a few unknown sports cars.

It seemed that he was the last to arrive. He sighed and walked to the entrance of the manor. An old butler was welcoming at the entrance.

As soon as he saw Weiss, he greeted him with a smile and said.

“Miss has been waiting for Young Master Weiss for a long time. Please follow me.”

After saying those words, he turned around and led the way.

As Weiss admired the beautiful gardens of the manor, he wondered if Elena had even sent someone to pick him up at the gate because she was afraid he wouldn’t know the way.

Weiss could only curse inwardly as he boarded the tour bus and arrived at the door of the house in the blink of an eye.

The banquet had already begun. Many old aristocrats who were rarely seen in the business world had already formed their own circles.

Weiss was a little embarrassed. Fortunately, this embarrassment did not last long. Someone immediately called his name.

“Brother Weiss, over here…”

Mair shouted excitedly. The rich second-generation heirs in his class formed a circle around him. It was a small circle and there were a few female students gathered around him.

Weiss held his forehead, a bit speechless towards this little brother of his. Wasn’t this a bit too ostentatious? Mair’s condition wasn’t bad.

He was said to be the grandson of the elder of the Hong Sect, and his parents were also prominent Chinese businessmen in New York City.

Weiss also couldn’t quite remember how the two of them got to know each other. When both of them weren’t good at studying and had the common topic of conversation, Elena, they were mixed together.

Moreover, Mair did not have the airs of a rich second-generation heir in his class. He was kind to others and had a good relationship with people in his class. Overall, Weiss liked his friend Mair.

Footsteps could be heard along the corridor. Everyone watched as the main character of the birthday party, Elena, came down. The birthday party had officially begun!
