Chapter 18 (2/2)
Elena looked at Weiss excitedly too, mostly because Weiss had been so cool just then, his white hands flying over the piano. When she saw his performance, she felt like all the pianists she’d seen before were trash.
The eyes of the girls below the stage were like torches. Where could they find such a handsome and rich boy?
This is it!
Weiss originally wanted to walk over to Elena and brush her hands together but he was immediately surrounded.
Most of them were girls who surrounded him to ask for his autograph. Among them, there were nobles who were proficient in piano who clamored to take him as their master.
Wayne saw how popular Weiss was and said to the old man beside him.
“You’ve lost this time.”
The old man beside him was a little angry but he only took a sip of the red wine in his hand and said.
“This person offended the Black Deity. How much longer can he live?”
With that, without waiting for Wayne’s reply, he walked into the crowd and began to communicate.
Wayne shook his head with a wry smile. Those people were indeed difficult to deal with and extremely powerful.
Manipulating several presidential elections, with a long history that cannot be traced.
The most well-known thing was that they were among the founding fathers of the United States. There was no point in discussing how big they were now because no one would know. Those who knew were all dead.
Weiss stepped off the piano bench. It took him a long time to reach Elena.
Elena smiled and asked.
“Master Weiss, when did you become so powerful? I still don’t know.”
Weiss could only reply helplessly.
“You flatter me. It’s mainly because you’ve never let me show it before.”
Elena snorted. There was some awkwardness between them.
But soon Mair came with a large group of people from his class and shouted.
“Brother Weiss, you’re too awesome.”
Weiss replied with a bitter smile and began to talk to Mair and the others.
Soon, Weiss’s elegant speech attracted the attention of the surrounding nobles. Seeing that Weiss was so proficient in noble etiquette, they couldn’t help but be amazed.
Soon, a large group of people surrounded Weiss. The way Weiss spoke in all aspects and his humorous words made everyone very comfortable.
Soon, it was night time. Many people said goodbye to Weiss and drove away.
Weiss was about to leave. After all, his sister was still waiting for him at home but Elena called him and said shyly.
“My father wants you to go to his study room. He wants to talk to you.”
Weiss was somewhat prepared but still surprised.
All he could do was follow Elena to Wayne’s study. Elena remained silent on the way and when she reached the door.
Suddenly she turned to Weiss and said.
“No matter what my father says, don’t mind him.”
Then, she ran away with a red face.
Wayne was in his study, watching the footage helplessly.
It was bad enough that Elena had chosen Weiss but it made things difficult for Wayne. He didn’t want to stand against the Black Deity but if it was Elena, Wayne’s eyes were fierce and everyone who knew him knew that this was a sign that he was going to be serious.
