Chapter 23 - Encirclement (2/2)

The queen’s face was livid. Even when she had the advantage, all the men she had brought with her were still dead. She glowered at Weiss.

“Is this how you kill my subordinates? Unfortunately, it’s useless against me. My brain development has reached 40%. Die.”

Then the whip in the queen’s hand turned into a cone and pierced into Weiss’s body. Weiss didn’t even react.

His body did not self-heal, or rather, the whip’s material countered his self-healing ability. Furthermore, the barbs on the whip had hooked onto his body, causing him to feel a sharp pain whenever he moved.

Weiss’s face became increasingly pale. He seemed to be at the end of the road.

The past few days of fighting had made him a little tired. Psychic power was useless against the Queen. Teleportation was useless and so was the power of immortality. The title was no longer useful and pulling the queen into the dream world was just suicide.

He seemed to have no other choice.

The Queen walked over step by step. She had already thought of how to torture Weiss for making her suffer such a huge loss. When she returned, she might even be demoted. Thinking of this, the Queen’s face became even more ferocious as she spun the whip.

Weiss fell to his knees in pain, thinking of many things.

Suddenly, the surrounding scenery started to become chaotic, as if it was going to be removed.

The Queen cried out but Weiss was senseless.

When he fell, he heard his sister’s voice. His sister’s crying voice.

In a dream, Weiss saw his sister being taken away by the Black God. He saw her crying and shouting,

“Don’t hurt my brother!”

Weiss woke up with a start. He was on his bed at home.

He got up quickly and ran downstairs. The butler was on the phone.

Turning to face Weiss, he said sadly.

“Miss Alice is missing.”

Weiss’s head spun and he fell down the stairs, losing consciousness again.

In his daze, he saw his sister’s figure gradually distancing from him. He kept calling out his sister’s name, but she did not answer and just kept moving away from him.

Weiss slept for two days. As soon as he woke, he went looking for everyone he knew, constantly begging them to find his sister.

Wayne, Alina, Liu Qing, Mair…

He went to look for everyone who he thought might know where his sister was.

He even sneaked into the basement of Acute Macro Pharmaceuticals and saw many people undergoing surgery. He did not care and just kept looking for Alice.

But Alice seemed to have vanished into thin air. No one had seen her.

Weiss was already numb. He did not go to school nor did he manage the company. He only took out 30% of his shares to promote the company to the public.

He also hired professional managers and researchers to push the dream immersion technology.

After that, Weiss lived a drunken life every day, imitating a rich second-generation heir and went to all kinds of places to drink.

From time to time, he would invade other people’s dreams and kill the evil people to save the good people while looking at their dream fragments.

After nearly three months of searching, Weiss finally found something.
