”Huh? What are you not?” Peach scratched her head in confusion, wondering why he had suddenly uttered such a statement.

Hearing what Shen Mochen said, Hu Yucheng was relieved. He felt invigorated, like a fish being released back into the water. Swiftly, he held Peach's arm and smilingly proposed, ”Peach, you're so cute. Will you be my girlfriend?”

”I promise to treat you well. Whatever delicious food or fun toys that I have, I will definitely offer it to you first. If you agree to be my girlfriend, I will give you half of my pocket money in the future!” Hu Yu sincerely promised Peach.

”What does a girlfriend have to do?” It was the first time she had come across the word. She only understood that being a wife was equivalent to being a daughter-in-law. To her, that meant being her Godfather's daughter-in-law and that role was labelled with the name 'Peach'.

”Well… It's a good friend who is a girl. Rest assured, I will definitely take responsibility. You will become my wife in the future,” Hu Yucheng assured, patting his chest. In actuality, the idea of a girlfriend was still very vague to him. However, when children watch too many television programmes, they will inevitably try to imitate adults.

”I don't want that,” Peach rebuffed without hesitation and clutched Shen Mochen's arm tightly. ”He's my husband. There's no one else for me.”
