Chapter 8 - Mischievous Queen (1/2)
”So, what happened, Peter, Theo?”
The two Ministers were in the study room confronting the bit angry King of Lith. He had called them as they were the ones in charge of Anne that day, but she returned with a severe allergic reaction and a crying face. The whole palace entered into a state of panic and many doctors were called urgently.
Fortunately, it was not that of a strong reaction and everything was fine after some time but… what came as a surprise was her face filled with tears. The little villainess princess had always suppressed her sadness even at that time when they gave her the news of her parents. But now, her face only deployed sorrow.
King Julian knew she was only a six-year-old kid and it was normal for her to cry sometimes, but the past year it was her who provoked other people to cry, more in helplessness for her silly antics than anything.
”She wanted to visit my house, Your Highness, and play with Rose. I think.”
”You think?”
”…”
Prime Minister Prim raised a brow, they all knew she always had many intentions hidden behind her beautiful face.
”Then we started a chess game to pass time and wait…”
”Wait?”
Minister Mills continued and equally raised a brow to the King. They knew they were waiting for her to make her move.
”I was winning marvelously… but this man here began a cheating move.”
”I did not.” That was an indifferent and cold response from the Prime Minister, only infuriating more the childish Duke.
”You did it!”
”I did not.”
”You did it! Your Highness, I demand justice.”
The King was getting a headache. 'Is this man an idiot?'
”What happened next?”
”Then she came inside and said that my dogs were beautiful and… she wanted one.” The Prime Minister recited her words looking at the King.
Sigh… He began to understand what she was aiming for. But… was it just that?
Meanwhile, in the beautiful big and pink Princess room of Anne, she was currently resting inside the comfortable fluffy covers. Her swollen eyes were the only ones outside the covers, and her red hair was loose and sprawled on the pillow.
