Chapter 38 - Scene (1/2)
First…
”Anne, are you still mad at me?”
”No.”
”Anne, look at me, my bride.”
”Don't call me that, I am not your bride yet.”
Nothing good comes when a girl catches her handsome soon-to-be fiancé with another girl in a very intimate pose, right? Even more, when the same girl is a Princess, even more, when the said Princess is the most outstanding evildoer in not just a Kingdom but an International Institution that will educate the leaders of the future, the Academy.
”Princess Anne, we… we were not doing nothing wrong,” the cute girl with beautiful chocolate hair and an innocent smile said, however, her bright blue eyes were screaming words of grievance. ”Senior Henry was only helping me a bit… I just needed some little guidance with my studies.”
The young girl has this small little frame, petite, one could say. Her big eyes could give anyone a sense of innocence and softness. Even a boy as cold and indifferent as Henry would have the same feelings, right?
”Miss Amanda, don't you worry, I was not jealous,” Anne said out loud and with a big smile. Though it was evident that she was mocking the little girl.
Henry, on the other hand, was fisting his hand tightly. He knew she was doing that on purpose.
”Anne, stop it,” he wanted to take her hand, but she avoided it. ”Amanda did nothing wrong, you don't have to be like this!”
”How did you call me?” she narrowed her eyes, ”I am Princess Anne or Her Highness, not just Anne, hmph,” she turned around and marched away.
The students around couldn't help but criticize the Princess that was once the most admired student in the Academy. Now her true nature was coming out, the spoiled kind of girl that only knows how to give orders and nothing else.
”How awful,” someone said, ”I can't believe Princess Anne could do that.”
”What a shame, I was once part of her fan's club.”
”But… isn't that other girl at fault here?”
”What did she do wrong? She was only asking for help from Senior Henry.”
”Yes, that's true, the princess was just going overboard.”
Second…
The cafeteria was full of people, some of them were from the high-class section of the school and some others were from the lower class part. More like the commoners that got the entrance to the Academy with their own effort through the admission exams.
Though, as always the differentiation was something that was embedded in the blood of the young lords and ladies. Even more in the Princess of Lith, the only daughter and major leader of the high-class section of the Academy.
”Elton, bring me my breakfast,” Anne ordered with a smirk.
”Princess Anne, why do you still have someone like him around you?” the Princess of Forth, Megan commented while sipping her tea. ”Don't you find him disgusting? He is from the lower class.”
”He is a useful servant,” Anne said while sipping her tea.
However, when the poor Elton came back with the tray, someone had to trip him, and he fell engraving his face in the plate of soup. The whole section of the high-class students laughed at him without the intention of helping him up. Even Anne was showing her characteristic 'Muahahaha.'
”Stop it!” Amanda, the beautiful simple girl came forward with her hands ready to help Elton up, ”you are such a rude person, I had at least a bit of manner to help another one.”
”Sigh… and why would I help a simple servant get up?” Anne's voice came as a blast of cold air but with a small laugh on the side. ”He just dropped a ten golden coins breakfast, he should be begging me to let him off or his family will go bankrupt only trying to repay me.”
The smirks on the sides from the students were making Amanda a feeling to go and kick some spoiled kids' ȧsses.
”Don't…” the young boy Elton stopped her when he noticed that she was about to continue speaking. He didn't want to bring more trouble to the young girl. It will be dreadful if she gets to cross the path of Princess Anne. ”I am sorry, Your Highness.”
He got on his knees and lowered his head.
”That is not enough,” Anne smirked, ”don't you know how to beg? Your head should be kissing the ground, right?”
”You don't have to do this!” Amanda didn't care anymore, ”to that spoiled Princess, you should not beg. I will repay the money!”
”Hah… and how do you plan to give it back?” Anne's eyes glinted with a scheme.
”A bet,” Amanda dared to say, ”If I get on the first place on the mid-term exams, you will write off this debt.”
”And if you lose?”
”Whatever you want.”
”Then you will be my slave for the rest of the year.”
