Chapter 47 - Ilians vision (1/2)
”Princess Anne, are we going to continue with the spying mission?”
”Yes,” Anne was now walking fast with a strange entourage of seven girls behind her. They were all looking high and mighty while following the Princess. Many murmurs covered their path and admiring words were giving them a sense of Royalty.
It seemed that the fan club had expanded to hundreds of followers, not only students and teachers, even the Principal was in the fan club but with a silly alias, KickingWizard.
The club was now the biggest ȧssociation in the whole school rivaling with the ancient Lexors's fraternity that only accepts a certain number of candidates every year. Curiously, they never thought of sending an invite to Princess Anne, but to all of her closest followers.
Moira received several cards, even Eliot received a card. However, the moment the cards reached their eyes they were thrown to the bin, or better, they will turn to dust.
On the other hand, the fan's club of Anne didn't need to send cards to choose their members. So many outstanding people were more eager because of that, they all felt included. Mostly because of the projects going inside the club. There seemed to be even a waiting list to enter the activities with the Princess.
Who will escape the opportunity?
However, the list of requirements was extensive, of course, some of them included a fascination for fluffy things or cute sweet things. Also, appreciative eyes for every single dish Chef Hugo had released, especially fruit tarts. But the one that everyone should never forget was the adoration for a fluffy Gandalf knight that was the official pet of the club.
”We shall move with secrecy,” Anne whispered to the group of red-haired and golden-eyed girls. They were wearing the same uniform and were carrying the same books, of course, the book with the silhouette of a Princess on the cover. Not that it was a shameless way to promote it inside the campus. Not at all.
But all of them had decided that the best way to distract Henry was dressing up as her idol to make him confuse her and follow a different lead many times. It would be a strange game of hide-and-seek. However, it will not hinder their opportunity to sell some copies of the book to the population that doesn't have two copies already.
This way Henry will never know that the only one with black short hair and gray eyes was Anne.
”Let's go!”
Anne commanded her own set of Annes and moved on her own to sit behind the table of her dear fiancée to hear.
”What are you going to do, Henry?” Gery Duncan, the son of a high Minister in the Kingdom of Forth asked. He seemed to have transferred a few days ago to the Academy. ”What are you going to tell her? They had already sent the engagement letter. They want you.”
”I know, but…” he sighed, ”I can't go anywhere… not now, not ever.”
