Chapter 126 - Jena Wang (2/2)

She wanted to ask the potato about it, but decided it would be awkward and she didn't know what she'd think if it really was correct so she decided to push it at the back of her mind and just ask it when she felt more comfortable with her new boyfriend.

Soon, her meal arrived and she took time savoring her food before returning to her room to prepare. At eight and a half, Yanee was all set. It was just on time before the phone in her suite rang. It was the receptionist informing her that the car that would take her to the hospital was there waiting for her.

Wow…

Jisoo even arranged for that. She didn't know she would have the hotel car service this time so she thought she'd call for a cab. Anyway, she felt happy and spoiled as she picked up her briefcase and marched towards the waiting car below.

The hospital where Jena was staying was near the hotel so it didn't take time for her to reach it. There was still fifteen minutes left before nine so she decided to wait somewhere first. But before she even found a bench, a soft voice called her.

”Yanee?”

She turned around and saw Jena Wang being pushed on a wheelchair by a nurse.

”Big Sis Jena!” Yanee changed direction and came to her.

”What are you doing there?” Jena asked in amusement. ”Did you get lost?”

Yanee shook her head. ”No. I just realized I came too early so I decided to wait over there.”

”Ah,”Jena nodded before reaching out to hold her hand. ”No need to wait there then. I just finished touring the garden so come up to the room with me.”

”Okay,”Yanee agreed.

The three of them, including the nurse returned to the building. Jena introduced Yanee to her caretaker as they returned to the room. As soon as they arrived, Yanee ȧssisted the nurse in putting Jena back to her bed and watched as the nurse propped her foot with cast up.

”I'm glad you can come on short notice. I hope I didn't cause trouble,” Jena said as she lay down comfortably. The nurse elevated her back so she was almost sitting down.

Yanee shook her head. ”It's alright. It's actually convenient to finish all the interviews the soonest possible time. But I'm sorry it had to be this time. How are you?”

Jena grinned and pointed at her injury. ”As you can see, I got my foot busted. The kids and I went to the pool but I was not paying attention and slipped.”

Oh no…

Yanee looked worried but the other smiled at her in ȧssurance.

”Don't worry. I'm really okay. I just broke my leg but aside from the fracture there's nothing else. The reason why I'm staying here at the hospital is because I'm not in my country and Alvin was too worried I'll be left at the hotel with the kids. So Big Sis Jisoo took my boys and I'm staying here.”

”I see…”

Well, it's true. Jena and Alvin lived in Taiwan. They did travel a lot for work. It's why they were in Seoul at the moment.

”Anyway, like you said, the faster we do the interviews, the better so you can start writing the actual book already. Little Tohru told us that the book will join Ai Awards.”

Urgh…

Remembering the awards Yanee smiled helplessly as she nodded. Jena grinned back and winked at her.

”Don't worry. After you finish writing the book, we sisters will help you bully the potato, okay?”Jena suddenly said and Yanee laughed.

”Alright,” she answered.

”Let's start then…”

Satisfied, Jena signaled for her to make herself comfortable on the seat next to the bed. Yanee took out the recorded too. At Jena's permission, she pushed the buŧŧon.
