Chapter 52 - Some Random Stories (2/2)

*Closed Door*

After I walked out, I could hear a burst of laughter inside the dining room.

”Wut?”

Why is everyone laughing? Did I do something funny?

Thana-kun, seeing my troubled expression, said, ”You know sometimes people laugh to forget sad things. It's probably that.”

I see. That makes sense...

Well... I hope I never see ghosts again.

Title: Meeting between former criminals.

My name is Joe. Last name Mamma.

As far as I could remember, I was a good person.

My mom, Mamma Joe, had taught me how to live a life with morals. When she died, I was extremely sad, but I still wanted to continue her legacy.

Luckily, I was a nobleman, so I had a shitload of money.

I invested my money solely for the greater goods. I built orphanages, created farms, and even reformed the Military Police System.

I improved the public opinion of me and my fellow nobleman. The city had gone through many revisions for the better, also because of me.

What was weird though, was that some people keep calling me Maxim Krieger. I don't even know who that is!

Apparently, that Maxim guy was quite evil. He plundered the people's money through taxes. He took people's wives and **** them. And whoever defied him, got executed.

I'm not like that. I, Joe Mamma, is a good person.

And right now, I was in a meeting with my fellow righteous peers.

”Alright, let's introduce ourselves. I am Joe Mamma, a good person.” I was the first one to start the conversation. I have heard a lot of good deeds done by these men. I really want to get to know them more.

”I'm next then. I'm Joe Mamma 2, a generous person.” Oh... Someone also has the same name as me. Their mom must have also been a compassionate person to name their children like that. This guy is not bad.

”It's my turn. I'm Joe Mamma 3, an amiable person.” Another one. I like how this is going. I have never thought that there were so many good people around.

”... Joe Mamma 4, a friendly person...”

”... Joe Mamma 5, a loving person...”

Wow... So many Joe Mamma around. Are they all my long lost brothers?

”Guys... I think we're brothers. All of our moms' name was Mamma Joe, right? I think that's our mom!!!” I excitedly exclaimed. I'm sure I'm right. Who else besides my mom can raise someone to be such a good person? Definitely no one besides Mamma Joe, the most kind-hearted woman, who gave birth to at least 269 children.

””BROTHERS!!””

”Yes, we're brothers.”

Amazing. I have never dreamed of having so many siblings before.

”Together, we're going to change the world! CHEERS TO THE MAMMA!!!”

””CHEERS!!!””

And that's how the first meeting between my brothers and I concluded, which will later be known in history books as the Mamma Meetings of Years 848.
