Mason and Beatrix combined both of their psychic and phantasmal energies and released a column of ray towards Maddox. Blaze got back down, and changed into his blue-fire mode. I supported them with my grey knife. It's the least that I can do to help them.

”NUISANCES!” Maddox unleashed his true potential. He turned into a snake almost a size of a planet. Its skin got more and more defenses, crystallized and layered with the four basic elements, wind, fire, earth, water, in orderly. The environment just got severer than before. This is bad. Real bad.

”Defending yourself with the four elements huh? What a simpleton.” Blaze tried to absorb the fire.

”Why can't I get it out from him?!” Blaze asked. Just like before, the elements that came from the environment can't be controlled, because of its corruption and life-threatening effects. The corruption was caused by Maddox too, meaning he's the only one who can control it, and no one else.

”The elements came from the environment. For now, we can't use it, because Maddox reigned over its essence, but we must stop it. We can't use its nature for now, but we can create from ours.” Oceane explained to him.

”It will consume much of our energy, Oceane.” Blaze said, arrogantly.

”Then what do you suggest, Blaze?” she frowned at Blaze.

”I can't hit its body. The hurricane around it is too potent for me.” Arlo told us.

”Then why don't Mason and Beatrix deal it with their abilities?!” Blaze yelled.

”We can't achieve its true potential yet, Blaze.” Mason answered.

”Is that it? How weak of you. I can't call you my siblings, if you're that weak.” he uttered. This is maddening me, I know he's our elder brother too, but what he said is just too much. I'm the weakest among all of them, not Beatrix and Mason. They're both strong. I attempted to walk towards him, and thought of punching him, but Arlo held me on my left shoulder, then shook his head as a sign of ”no”.

”HAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS ISSSSSS IT! A CHANCE WHERE THE FATUM WILL END UP DEPRIVING THEMSELVESSSSSS. LET ME END IT FOR YOU.” Maddox excitingly screamed. He gathered lightning energy and mixed it with his own corrupted energy, enhancing the burst more. This'll end us for sure. He released them.

”Corruption Burst!” he yelled.

”Get away!” we ran as fast as we could, but it ended with all of them were hit except me. They protected me with all they can.

”How could you?!” I shouted at Maddox.

”Well, now that you're the only one left. I'll be successful of being the new prince of the Telum clan!” he released a wicked chuckle after saying that.

”Stop.” I uttered.

”SSSTOP! SSSSSTOP! SSSSSTOOOOP!!!!” he blasted his energy from his mouth, hitting all directions. The wolves that survived the attack from before, carried my siblings towards me.

”She is right. You're never a Telum.” one of the wolves uttered.

”NOOOOO!!!” his reptilian body shedded its skin and is now covered with his own energy, instead of crystallized scales and elemental protectors. He let out countless, immense energy waves in all directions, and we barely dodged any along with my slumbering siblings carried by the wolves. This ability of his is passive. We can't get near him, or we'll end up passing away.

”ALL OF YOU WILL BE NO MORE THAN A HISTORY OF THIS WORLD. A HISTORY THAT WILL NEVER UNFOLD.” the whole radial domain started to disintegrate. This must be the cause of Maddox's energy. The whole environment that is in his control can't contain his energy anymore. If this continues, it'll be our doom, and this part of the Earth too.

The volcano that didn't erupt before, promptly ejected a large amount of lava, but it's not just lava. There are flames starting to rise from the volcano vent. These flames didn't came from the environment. A large ball of lava started to float into the air.

”What issssss that?” Maddox noticed too.

The big flaring sphere burst, and it used to suppress something. It appeared like a bird on fire. Having a blazing, gigantic body, wings and tails. Everything in that bird is burning. I think I know this, but it's impossible. I thought it was just a legend, even to the Emdelion clan, a clan of mythical beasts, this was a legend. How could it be?

”We are awakened. The awakened shall restore balance again, and thus, my power will give rebirth to everything.” the bird uttered. I know this bird. This is--

”Phoenix Host: Revival.” the Phoenix uttered. I can't believe it. The entire territory began to purify. The volcanoes started to close their vents, the water is now blue again, the flower gardens grew glamorously, and the dark clouds are now white as snow and the sun shone again. The Phoenix, who could possibly have it? As I look deeper into its spirit, I saw him.

”Serus!” I shouted happily. This is it. A revival. Is he waiting for it to emerge, or is he clueless of his powers? Never mind that, at least he is alive. My siblings started to rise up again, with their injuries healed. They stood up, and looked at the bright Phoenix as well. Serus' eyes are so bright, the flames surrounding his body is healing him, instead of burning him.

”The Phoenix?! How is that possible, and who's that?!” Arlo is shocked of what's happening, he doesn't even recognize Serus, because he didn't meet him yet.

”I knew it. There's something within him. A powerful mystery, now realized.” Beatrix said.

”Wait, you know it all this time, big sis?!” Vita asked with the same reaction as all of us.

”When I first saw him outside our house, I already made contact with his mind and investigate if he's a maniac or somewhat. But instead, I found out beyond those silly things. I found out that there's something hidden from him. Memories that are locked, and yet to be unlocked. And maybe this is the time for him to realize that.” Beatrix told us.

”Realize what?” Mason asked.

”That's still a secret, Mason. I'm still not sure about it, but we'll find out then.” Beatrix seems confident about it.

”HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!” Maddox spit a barrage of attacks at him, but the Phoenix just absorbed all of those within and repelled its effects. It's like it has absolute control.

”You'd been stolen of who you are. Therefore, I shall restore your memories.” Serus held out his hand, and the Phoenix chirped. The red, gigantic snake faded away, and Maddox's body came falling down. I jumped and ran to his direction, and caught him.

”Why did you catch him? He's an enemy.” Blaze said.

”Arlo said something odd about him. He said he was supposed to be the next king of the Emdelion clan.” I responded.

”Fine. I don't have the right to deny that he's older than me.” Blaze said with arrogance. I slightly hate him, because of it.

”The deed has been done, master. Call us and you shall have our force again. Farewell.” the bright Phoenix burst into thin air. Serus descended slowly, and his eyes are going back to normal again. He stood with us, and looked confused.

”What....the hell....happened?” he said, while glancing at every corner of the area.
