“Why not? Are you afraid that I don’t have enough money?” Yun Qingyan frowned hard, and her already disgusting face became even more terrifying. She now exuded the look of a rich and spoilt person through and through. “I am the young mistress of the Yun family and you think I won’t have enough to cover this little bit of money? Are you looking down on the Yun family?”

“Oh no, you’re mistaken!” The shopkeeper quickly started to defend himself. “It might look very attractive, but it’s actually the poisonous Poison Star Powder. I’m afraid that you might get poisoned, so I dare not sell it to you!”

After the shopkeeper said that, Yun Qingyan really gave up the idea of buying it.

The shopkeeper started perspiring even more profusely now. She got it right the first time, then she got it right a second time, was this useless bum just pretending to be useless? If that were the case, then why didn’t she get angry at him for lying to her?

The shopkeeper wanted to back out of this situation now.

“Shopkeeper, I see that Miss Yun is really willing to learn. She’s always been a useless punching bag, now she wants to fill herself with some substance. Why don’t you fulfill her wish and add a few fancy flowers to her brain that’s made from straw?” Su Ying stood by the side arrogantly and there was a smug look on his face.

Yun Qingyan glanced at Su Ying.

That glance was icy cold, it was so bone-chilling that he could feel it in his bone marrow.

Su Ying felt a chill run down his spine and fill his heart. But when he looked carefully at her again, he found that she still looked completely harmless.

She looked around the shop curiously as if she was looking at something new to her.

She then pointed at some more herbs. Some of them were what she wanted, and some of them weren’t.

The shopkeeper finally relaxed. This useless girl was just making guesses after all.

So he started lying to her about the various herbs again.

Yun Qingyan figured she had gone far enough and Guanghan was probably getting very impatient from waiting outside, so she finally stopped her questions. There was a faint smile on her lips and a grateful expression on her little face. “Shopkeeper, thanks for answering all my questions.”

The shopkeeper suddenly felt a little guilty after lying to her for the last one hour and just waved his hands about. “Oh no no, it is our shop’s honor to be able to provide Miss Yun with service.”

“A useless bum is a useless bum after all,” Su Ying snorted by the side. She actually thanked the shopkeeper for lying to her. She was really completely useless after all.

“Since you’re such a kind and patient shopkeeper, I’ll definitely publicize Hundred Herb Hall in the future.” Yun Qingyan broke into a smile and revealed two cheeky little canines as a crystal suddenly appeared in her hand. “You’ve spent the last hour imparting your knowledge of herbs to me, and I’ve recorded everything on my Recording Crystal, so later I’ll show everyone how patient, selfless, and incredibly kind the shopkeeper of Hundred Herb Hall is.”

After that, she even gratefully patted the shopkeeper’s shoulder and started counting off her fingers, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you become famous far and wide. I’ll let Grandpa see it, as well as the doctors in the palace, and all the shopkeepers of various major medicinal and herb halls so that they can learn from your selfless practices.”

“Pffft!”

The shopkeeper nearly spat a mouthful of blood and his face instantly turned gray in defeat.
