Even Baili Qingxue and the other teachers were confused as they watched Qin Li walk further and further away.
“Hey! Qin Li! Come back here! Aren’t you participating in the Magical Beast Hunting Competition anymore?” One of the teachers quickly ran after him.
“Don’t bother running after him, let him be. He doesn’t have to participate in the Magical Beast Hunting Competition this time.” Elder Yue stood on the high stage as a gleam flashed across his eyes. He stroked his beard and looked a little curiously towards Yun Qingyan.
Did this young lady do that on purpose?
Qin Li was very gifted, but his personality could be problematic. He was often rash and easily affected by the things around him, and that greatly hampered his improvement as well.
The teachers in charge of Qin Li had hinted to him about this before but he didn’t care about those hints at all. However, this young lady used a form of agitation to help that dense boy understand this immediately.
Yun Qingyan wasn’t bothered by Elder Yue’s staring.
With her centuries of experience as a Godly Sovereign, she could see Qin Li’s problem easily. Her words were mostly targeted at squashing the pride of this group of idiots who thought they were geniuses.
As for that fellow’s sudden enlightenment, that had absolutely nothing to do with her.
“Yun Qingyan, don’t try to insult us in this roundabout manner. Our attitudes and our dislike of you have nothing to do with one another.” The girl in orange stood up indignantly again and pointed a finger at Yun Qingyan as she spoke loudly.
Yun Qingyan fluttered her eyes innocently. “And which ear of yours heard that I was insulting someone in a roundabout manner?”
“Are you still going to deny it?! You called all of us toads earlier, and now you dare to say you didn’t!” The girl in orange glared at Yun Qingyan.
“Oh,” Yun Qingyan calmly responded and raised an eyebrow at her. “I was straight-up calling you a toad, I wasn’t saying this in a roundabout manner, don’t overthink it.”
