15 I Missed You (1/2)

Daniel walked towards his office and he passed by his brother who is still gaping at the side.

”Bro..” Liam spoke.

”Not now.” Daniel replied firmly.

”But bro, aren't you going to introdu-”

”I said not now.. My girlfriend's waiting for me in my office.” Daniel said as the corners of his mouth lifted upwards.

Liam blinked and gaped as his brother makes his way towards his office. 'My brother has a girlfriend? My brother has a girlfriend!! Hallelujah! This is big news!' Liam covered his mouth and tried to suppress himself from screaming. He tried to catch up with his brother but Daniel already had entered his office and closed the door. Liam knocked and twisted the knob but his evil brother has already locked it!! 'Is he.. Is he going to? OHHHHH' He knocked a few times and said ”Bro, wait. Let me see her!”

Daniel on the other side of the door ”Go away or I'll make you go on a business trip for a month.”

When Liam heard this, he stopped and turned as he walked towards his office and sulked. ”So stingy.”

Samantha sat on the sofa like nothing happened as she flipped the pages of a Forbes Magazine. The truth is, she's too nervous to look at Daniel at the moment so she sucked it up and pretended that what she did earlier was just normal.

”Hey, darling, what do you want to drink?” Daniel asked as he walked towards her.

”I'm not thirsty.”

Looks like Daniel isn't the only one who gets jealous easily.

Daniel tried to contain his smugness, ”So.. what are you doing?”

Samantha swallowed and said, ”Just reading.”

”Huh, but you don't like reading Forbes.”, He said as he sat beside her.

”What? That's nonsense... I.. I read it sometimes.”

Daniel doesn't let it go, he can see right through her act; he finds it amusing.

”Really... but you said before, you don't like reading it because it gives you a headache. The only magazines you read are Baking Heaven, Bon Appétit and Cosmo.”

Samantha cursed herself, 'Why!! I did tell him all about that, but he didn't have to remember!'

Samantha.. that just means he remembers everything about you.

”Don't make me confess. Even if you're right, Let me go and give me face.” Samantha said shamelessly.

Daniel chuckled. Samantha is just too cute.

”Okay, I won't. Only because you're my girlfriend.”, he said with a teasing tone on the last word and Samantha's cheeks burned.

”Don't you miss me? Why aren't you looking at me?” Daniel smirked.

”Why would I miss you? We talk on the phone every day.”

”Ah, is that right? Okay, I'll just go back to Japan then.”, he said as he attempted to stand up.

Samantha was startled and quickly grabbed Daniel's hand preventing him from standing up. ”I.. I.. I miss you.”, she said while she gazed at him tenderly.

Samantha's heart beats rapidly as Daniel's scent invaded her senses. She stared at his warm gaze while he was looking at her as if he wanted to consume her. They stared into each other's eyes for a good amount of time without saying anything; but even though they're silent, their eyes communicated and both of them felt at ease.

Samantha's heart calmed down when she saw Daniel shifted his gaze from her eyes to her lips and it lingered there for a bit before he looked at her again. Samantha knew what he wanted and so she slowly closed her eyes in response, giving Daniel permission.

Seeing that Samantha also wanted him, he leaned forward.. and then his lips met hers. Daniel's kiss was gentle and slow.. Samantha tightened her grasp on Daniel's shirt as she stiffened beneath him. She couldn't resist but respond to his kisses. This was their first kiss and it was sweet; Samantha's lips were sweet and Daniel's were cool.

She hooked her arms around his neck and Samantha tried but failed to contain her excitement when a faint moan escaped her lips and desire kicked through Daniel's senses when he heard her weak moan, so he deepened the kiss while he tries to steady himself on top of her. He missed her. He hadn't seen her for more than a week and he missed her. He's already kissing her and yet he still misses her, he just couldn't get enough of her.

Daniel tried all his might to slow down and with small kisses in between, he whispered, ”I missed you so much.”

They stayed in each other's arms for a few more minutes before Daniel got up and grabbed a gift bag from his desk.

He returned to Samantha's side and gave it to her... Here, I got this for you.

Samantha recalled Andrew's lingerie gifts and she suddenly felt a little scared, 'That's not lingerie, right?' she thought to herself... She seemed to be traumatized by that unsightly piece.

Shaking the nightmare off her mind, she beamed as she received the bag, ”Aww, You shouldn't have... What's this?”

”They're something I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy.” he smiled.

Samantha opened the bag and saw different goodies inside, like mochi, dorayaki, daifuku, castella and a few more little bits of every popular dessert in Japan. Samantha giggled as she exclaimed oohs and ahhs..
