Volume 4 Chapter 19 - Why did you do this? (1/2)

The fierce explosion attracted the gazes of everyone on the street in front of the City Lord Manor. When everyone saw the Magic Sedan that was left after the explosion, they were all stunned.

Someone that could afford a Magic Sedan was either a noble or a rich merchant, commoners couldn’t offend them.

Who dared to do this? Who had the ability to do this?

All their doubts vanished as soon as they saw Xu Yi standing in front of the Magic Sedan.

Xu Yi used a Water Magic Array on the Magic Sedan and covered up the explosion fragments, naturally it didn’t affect Baron Belil and the small noble who were standing on the side.

Those two were shocked by Xu Yi’s actions. After a while, the small noble finally reacted and angrily jumped up.

“Xu Yi, what are you doing! You…..” Seeing the remains of his Magic Sedan, his expression twisted from the pain he felt, “Are you god damn courting death! You dared to ruin my Magic Sedan!”

Xu Yi calmly looked at him and suddenly asked, “Do you have a driver’s license?”

“Driver’s license?” The small noble was taken aback, “Of course, what about it?”

“Since you have a driver’s license, you should know that when you took the test, there were rules. You can’t give your Magic Car to someone without a driver’s license to drive, otherwise you’ll lose the right to have a driver’s license. I’m telling you now that you broke this rule, so as the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s chairman, I announce that your Magic Sedan has been suspended. If you have any objections, you are welcome to sue the Banta City’s Magic Machine Business Union.”

The small noble and Baron Belil looked at Xu Yi in disbelief, like he had just told them the biggest joke ever.

“I…..I say, Xu Yi are you crazy?” The small noble couldn’t help cursing in a loud voice, “Because I lent my Magic Sedan to Belil, you just broke it like that? What kind of god damn reason is that! EVen if I broke the rules and lost my rights to a driver’s license, how can you destroy my car like that?”

Baron Belil was also shocked and angry, “Xu Yi, you must be crazy! When did you become qualified to destroy a Magic Sedan? Who gave you this courage! Then again, when did I lose my driver’s license? I just got it a few months ago!”

Xu Yi turned to Baron Belil, “Because from the moment you hit her highness while drunk driving, your license had already been suspended.”

Hearing this, Baron Belil whose face was filled with anger calmed down. He took a deep breath and pointed at Xu Yi as he gave two cold laughs, “Good, very good! Xu Yi, you’ve made up your mind to meddle in this? I’m warning you, you are just a small merchant, you just earned a bit of money with a bit of cleverness, don’t think that you’ve become someone important! If you dare meddle in this matter, you won’t even know how you died!”

Xu Yi gave a shrug with a relaxed look, “I’m just following the rules, you can interpret this however you want. Right, Baron Belil, I have to remind you of something. Because you were drunk when you crashed into her highness, according to the rules of the exam, you won’t be able to get another driver’s license for another five years.”

Baron Belil’s expression changed. He glared at Xu Yi before giving a cold snort, “Don’t think that just because you control magic machines that you can control everything. Let me tell you, there are many things that you aren’t qualified to decide!”

After throwing this down, Baron Belil pulled the small noble away.

The small noble looked at his Magic Sedan in an unwilling manner, but he was still pulled away by Baron Belil.

Watching the two leave, Xu Yi shook his head. He turned back to the City Lord Manor and saw the guards coming out.

After a while, Xu Yi saw Seveni again.

“Why did you do this?” After staring at Xu Yi for a while, Seveni finally asked this with knitted brows.

“It isn’t anything, I just felt unhappy seeing Baron Belil acting this arrogantly in front of me.” Xu Yi replied.

Seveni clearly didn’t believe this, “Is it really just this?”

“Just this.” Xu Yi nodded with a serious look.

“When did you become like a child?” Seveni rolled her eyes at Xu Yi, “Such a spiteful approach doesn’t suit your style.”

Xu Yi revealed a faint smile, “Still was just saying a few days ago that I’ve become older and she didn’t like it, so shouldn’t I appear as more youthful? Look, this makes people think ‘easily angered youth’, doesn’t it?”

Seeing Xu Yi talk nonsense with a serious look, Seveni couldn’t help laughing.

After laughing for a while, Seveni looked at Xu Yi and shook her head. She waved her hand and said with a sigh, “Alright, I don’t know what you were thinking, but I won’t ask if you don’t want to talk. I believe in your ideas, but I must remind you, tearing away face from Baron Belil like this, it might be considered a provocation towards the Stagg Family. I think…..you should be more careful.”

Xu Yi gave a shrug, “The Stagg Family already hated me anyway, right? It doesn’t matter if this is added in.”
