Chapter 54 Who else has to share his woman with his own little sister? (1/2)

Harry took the plate of sandwich and handed it to Angel, trying to sooth his aunt's temper. Although he still wanted to ask, but he kept quiet first. Better to sooth her temper first.

Besides, it was his fault for interrupting her during work.

They were still in her studio. Luckily the mug was safe from when Angel snarled and threw whatever she could grab toward Harry.

Even the paintings placed around the room were safe. Angel always made sure all the completed and even incomplete paintings were covered with white cloth and labeled properly.

Angel took a sandwich and chewed it slowly. Her emotion was getting better now once she started to eat.

Harry handed the hot drink. Luckily the mini marshmallow was still in stock so he put them a lot in the drink. It would always make Angel happier.

And he was right.

Angel began to hum happily. She sipped her drink happily, leaving a frothy mustache on her lips.

Harry quickly gathered the plate and mug to the kitchen. He made a quick wash and went back to the studio. He still wanted to ask her about the painting. Was the girl who he thought she was?

Angel went back to her painting. Her eyes narrowed at the details. She wanted to finish this before next week. Then she would take a short break to gather back her energy.

Harry took a seat behind her. He waited nervously for her to remember his existence.

It took her half an hour to remember her nephew.

It was an improvement than last time when she only remembered him when she almost faint from hunger.

”You're still here?”

Harry was used with her forgetting him when she was full could only smile weakly. ”I just want to ask something but don't be mad at me.”

”What is it?”

His eyes looked around but avoided the painting in question. It honestly made him feel uneasy and nervous.

”If you have nothing to say, you can start making dinner.”

Harry slumped down his shoulders. Apparently, he was a coward to ask such a simple question. Slowly he made way to the kitchen to prepare dinner and even breakfast for his aunt.

Ryn opened the door and sighed heavily. She bent down and grabbed the bags scattering at her feet. Time to do some sort of spring-cleaning or in Mika's own words cleaning a little bit of space for new clothes.

She started with the closest wardrobe. She slid the door opened and looked at the colourful garments blankly. Does she need to do it now? Why couldn't she do it next week?

She took half of the clothes from the wardrobe and tried to squeeze them into the bags. In just seconds, the bags she brought were full. She wiped the sweat on her face and looked around tiredly.

She took a deep breath. Then another. Then another.

”Time to move.”

She forced herself to bring the full bags to the living room. Then she took another group of bags to the clothes room. And began to gather the clothes into the bags.

It took her half the night to finish her work.

She arranged all those bags in the living room. Finally, she was done with her 'homework'.

Before she returned to her bedroom to catch her beauty sleep, she took a picture of the bags and posted it to Instagram.
