Chapter 471 - Breakfast vs dinner (2/2)

”We can always come here for holiday,” he said.

”But you must be busy… aren't you doing a tour after the wedding?” she asked as she turned to look at him with a puzzle, ”And the companies?”

”Don't worry about that. It's you I'm worried about. You've been so busy with your study and your jobs. You should take a few days off to rest.”

”This is rest,” she pointed out, frowning.

”No, love. You're still working,” he chuckled as he caressed her arms gently and kissed her temple.

”Working?” her frown deepened.

He turned her around so they could face each other and put both hands on her cheeks. ”You… didn't you notice you've been putting on your work mode during the shooting? You even became the director of the shooting.”

”I did?” honestly she could not remember.

”Yes, you did. You can just order the breakfast while I go freshen up. And don't look at the price,” he pinched her nose playfully before walked into the bathroom, whistling.

She pursed her lips. What did he mean by not looking at the price? She should look at the price in order to know whether the food worth the price or not.

She shrugged his reminder off and went to look for her phone. For today's photo, she decided to post the morning from the balcony. And she wanted to remember how beautiful and refreshing this was when she was too exhausted to start her day.

She took two photos with one of them with her in the frame. She ignored the fact she looked a bit puffy, too excited to share her beautiful morning day. Her caption was a simple 'Good morning, everyone.'

Just a minute after she posted it, she received thousands of likes and comments. As usual, she did not check them. It was the job of Mei Li. She was just doing her daily post and she did so early hence she was quite proud of herself. She put her phone down and went to look for the menu.

Mika was snuggling to Jason at the huge sofa when she reached the living room area. She c.o.c.ked an eyebrow seeing the couple were still wearing their bathrobe. Had they had their shower or they just grabbed the bathrobe from the closet and came to the living room to continue their loving session? She rolled her eyes and went to get the menu.

”Morning, Ryn,” Mika, lifting her head from Jason's comfortable chest when she heard the footsteps coming from Ryn's room, greeted her best friend cheerfully. She did not make a move to pull herself from her fiancé's embrace, though. Too comfortable.

”Morning. Have you ordered breakfast yet?” Ryn asked. She found the menu on the dining table. Surely it was not left there since yesterday. She frowned.

”Not yet,” Mika replied before she kissed her fiancé's lips gently. Then, she giggled when Jason whispered something in her ear.

”Okay,” Ryn quickly looked at the breakfast menu, pursing her lips a bit. She needed to choose carefully in order to get full at the cheapest price. She compared all the food, ignoring the salad and yogurt part. Then, her eyes landed on the dinner menu. She licked her lips hungrily at the name of the food.

Maybe she should choose from the dinner section.

”Ryn, remember to choose from the breakfast menu,” Mika hollered. She knew her best friend too much. Ryn no doubt was looking at the dinner menu instead of the breakfast menu.

”I…”

”Breakfast menu,” Jason chirped in, chuckling.

”I know,” Ryn grumbled. Her eyes landed back at the breakfast menu even though she longed to order from the dinner's section. So unfair.

”I want a salad,” Mika said without even looking at the menu. She already knew what she wanted.

”I want the breakfast set and coffee. Milk and juice for Mika,” Jason added.

”Noted,” Ryn said as she kept thinking about what she should order. Well, apart from the ribs she saw from the dinner menu.
