Mika drove the car calmly. Not a word came out from her mouth even though she was a chatterbox between them. And she always has something to talk about, every single time. But this time, she just kept quiet.

Mika glanced at her silently seething best friend. She pursed her lips thoughtfully.

After ten minutes, Ryn let out a heavy sigh.

Mika glanced at her but still did not say anything. She waited more.

”Is this normal?” Ryn asked finally.

”What is normal?” Mika asked without thinking.

”A rich man thinks that he owns all women?”

To be truth, this was not the first time she experiences this kind of thing. Even during work, she had to faca this kind of thing especially when she was still new. However, she was too proud and brave to accept their advance and refused to follow their demand. She did not care about fame or moneu. She did model for fun and if she had to choose, she would rather lose the chance for the job than sleeping with other man but Jeremy. She loved him too much to betray him.

Unfortunately, his jealousy clouded his mind and thought she was being unfaithful with another man in order to get more opportunities.

”They're still immatured,” Mika shrugged.

”Are they?” Ryn asked quietly.

It was Mika's turn to sigh heavily. She glanced at her best friend. She did not know why it suddenly triggered Ryn. It was as plain as the sky that the man was a playboy. But to make her usually calm Ryn this frustrated? Mika did not understand at all. Usually she was the one get frustrated easily and Ryn the one who calmed her down. But today...

”Playboy is everywhere, Ryn. Don't make him the reason for you to have bad mood. He is not worth it.”

”I know...” Ryn murmured as she hugged herself. She knew it was not worth it but her mind could not stop thinking about those experiences she had since young. Even in school, she was a victim of one but she was safe when a beautiful girl came into the next class and every male students turned their attention to her.

”Cheer up. I bet you're still hungry. Why don't we go eat somewhere?” Mika suggested. She wanted to distract Ryn from her bad mood. It was better to feed Ryn until she was satisfied and happy than leaving her being angry for long.

Ryn twitched her lips. Was she that easy to coax?

”What do you have in mind?” Ryn asked finally.

”The restaurant at the lake? The steaks there are quite good,” Mika suggested.

Because Jeremy brought her to that restaurant for a few times already.

Ryn took out her phone and checked the message sent by Mei Li and Jeremy. Mei Li was again confirming about about the work tomorrow and also the plan to go to another city for another job.

Yes, as she was already done with her holiday, Mei Li arranged her work until the day before she started her practical.

She replied that she already understood and let Mei Li confirmed the flight for the next ȧssignment she had.
