Chapter 66: Setting up a formation for Zhan family (1/2)

Zhan Qingyue's senior sister released a signal to the sky and a big snow white bird appeared on the top of Zhan family's estate.

”Little Chen, it is senior snow. She was the beast companion of my master”, Zhan Qingyue explained the origin of big snow white bird to Zhan Chen.

It flew downward and soon landed in the middle of Zhan family's estate.

”What a pretty bird”, Zhan Chen's third aunt commented as she curiously observed the pretty looking creature infront of her. Zhan Chen's other aunts and mother were also same as they looked at the beautiful snow white bird.

”A grade four snow eagle”, Zhan Chen immediately saw through the cultivation level of the magical beast infront of him.

Magical beasts were different from common wild beasts. They could cultivate like humans and their intelligence developed along with increase in their cultivation realm. The snow eagle infront of him was a grade four magical beast which was comparable to a core condensation realm expert of humans.

The eyes of the snow white bird moved around as it observed everyone in a human like manner. A hint of affection appeared on it's eyes when it's gaze fell upon Zhan Qingyue.

”Greetings senior snow”, Zhan Qingyue bowed her head towards the snow eagle.

”Qingyue, let's get going. We shouldn't let senior snow wait for us”, the senior sister of Zhan Qingyue spoke.

”Little Chen, I am going then”, Zhan Qingyue spoke. She greeted everyone present and climbed on the back of snow eagle. The snow eagle sprang its wings and flew towards the distant sky.

”Big sis, have a safe journey”, Zhan Chen shouted as he looked at the flying eagle in the sky.

”Chen-er, are you really going to the Grand sect competition?”, Li Qingzhao asked Zhan Chen after Zhan Qingyue left. His other aunts also looked at him as they were also curious about this matter.

”Yes mother, I am planning to participate in the Grand sect competition”, Zhan Chen replied.

”Then, have you decided which sect you are going to join? With your talent you can easily become a outer sect disciple of any major sects”, Li Qingzhao asked.

”I will decide after participating in the grand sect competition”, Zhan Chen replied with a smile.

”What about joining the pill valley? Is not your teach an alchemist?”, the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen asked.

”Aunt, I am not going to join the pill valley. As for my teacher, he has no opinion about whatever sect I am joining. And the last thing I want to inform everyone is that my teacher is an alchemist but his main path is dual cultivation”, Zhan Chen spoke with a smile.

He didn't want to keep everyone in dark about this matter. So, he picked this time to reveal the truth.

”Dual cultivation”, the cheeks of Zhan Chen's aunts reddened immediately.

”Little Chen, have you choosen a cultivation partner for you”, Zhan Chen's third aunt asked. Zhan Chen nodded his head with a smile.

”Who is she? Can you let us see her?”, Zhan Chen's third aunt asked. Zhan Chen blushed slightly by this sudden question. He felt shy to tell them that he already had multiple partners for dual cultivation.

”Ok, leave that matter to little Chen. He is probably feeling shy to talk about it”, the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen smiled. Zhan Chen threw a grateful glance at his eldest aunt for rescuing from this. The other aunts of Zhan Chen also smiled after noticing the comical expression on the face of Zhan Chen.

”Little Chen, dual cultivation is not itself bad but you should never do anything evil in the name of dual cultivation”, the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen said in a stern voice.

”That will never happen. I will never do anything against my conscience. I am doing dual cultivation because I do not see anything wrong with it. As long as a girl is willing, there is no problem in being with her”, Zhan Chen replied.

”When are you leaving then?”, the second aunt of Zhan Chen who had yet to speak anything asked.

”I willl leave soon but before that there are some matters I need to settle”, Zhan Chen replied.

”Eldest aunt, can I arrange a formation around our Zhan family estate?”, Zhan Chen asked.

”A formation?”, the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen became surprised after hearing the question of Zhan Chen.

”You can even set a formation?”, the second aunt of Zhan Chen looked at Zhan Chen as if she was seeing a ghost.

Zhan Chen felt a headache after seeing the expression on the faces of his aunts. Even his mother was no exception. He had no idea about how much a formation master was revered in the Northern desert continent.

”Second aunt, I can arrange some simple formations”, Zhan Chen replied while looking at his second aunt.

”Ok then, you just need to name the things you require. It will be okay as long as you can arrange a spirit grade formation”, Zhan Chen's aunt said with an assuring tone.
