22 Zevil island (1/2)
Yuuki wasn't happy. Killua was one of the people she did not want to draw. The tranquillisers that she had prepared probably wouldn't work on him due to his training and he was very alert. That would be annoying. Yuuki probably couldn't beat him in hand to hand combat so she would have to be sneaky.
Yuuki looked around, everyone had now removed their tags. Yuuki wondered if they still drew the same numbers as in the anime, the best way to check would to ask Gon and Killua who they drew but they would probably ask to look at her number.
How could she get around this? She walked up to Kurapika and Leorio who were having an argument and sat down next to them. Leorio scoffed at Kurapika and walked away.
”What was that about?” Yuuki asked.
”Who knows,” Kurapika replied, ”aren't you going to sit with Gon and Killua?”
”Nah,” Yuuki said looking over at them chatting, ”Wouldn't want to interrupt their bromance.”
Yuuki and Kurapika chatted for a bit and Yuuki caught the occasional stare from Leorio moping on the other side of the boat. She wondered what they were arguing about.
”Hey... Kurapika?” Yuuki asked. ”Do you mind doing me a favour?”
”Depends what it is.” He replied
”Well I'd rather not ask but I can't see another way of getting the tag,” Yuuki said, ”Mind swapping tags with me?”
”Who do you have?” Kurapika asked.
”You have to show me yours too, okay?” Yuuki showed him the card. Kurapika A's eyes sharpened.
”Are you planning to trick him?” Kurapika asked.
”I don't really like putting it like that but sure.” Yuuki said.
”I don't think I can help you then, but I won't tell him that you have him.” Kurapika said, ”But I'll show you my card.”
Yuuki looked down at Kurapika's card. The number on it was 197, one of the Amori brothers not Tompa like he had drawn in the anime.
”I didn't expect you to just switch cards with me anyway,” Yuuki said, ”So how about a trade.”
”A trade?” Kurapika questioned, ”What do you mean?”
”I'll give you some information about your eight-legged friends and you switch cards with me, ok?” She said.
Kurapika's eyes started to turn red before he calmed down a little. He looked at the card in his hand the reluctantly said, ”Very well.”
