Su Luo booked a luxurious private room at the same bar from before and ordered a lot of delicious food and drinks. Because she looked too young, Xu Jiaojiao’s identity card was checked at the entrance of the bar before she was let in. The waiter brought her into the private room.

Su Luo, who had arrived early, immediately pounced on her and hugged her. She said enthusiastically, “Happy 20th birthday, baby!”

Xu Jiaojiao looked at the decorations in the private room. “It’s just a simple birthday. You made it way too grand.” There were a lot of flowers and balloons in the private room.

“It has to be grand!” Su Luo pulled Xu Jiaojiao’s hand to the sofa. “Today is your 20th birthday, and it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event. You mustn’t have any regrets.” She let go of Xu Jiaojiao’s hand and pushed the present on the coffee table toward Xu Jiaojiao. “This is my birthday present for you. Happy birthday, Jiaojiao.”

“Thank you.” Xu Jiaojiao smiled.

“Quickly, open it and see if you like it,” Su Lu urged.

Xu Jiaojiao could feel Su Lu’s excessive enthusiasm. As she opened the packaging, she said suspiciously, “Did you give me something strange?”

“How is that possible? This is a gift that I’ve carefully chosen!” Su Luo said seriously.

Xu Jiaojiao opened the box and her eyes lit up when she saw the paint from a foreign brand. “It’s very difficult to buy paint from this brand! I’ve tried to get someone to buy it for me several times, but I could never get it. You actually managed to buy it!”

Su Luo said proudly, “Of course! Who do you think I am? Buying paint is a cinch for me!”

Xu Jiaojiao hugged her neck and said sweetly, “Luoluo, you’re too kind. You must have spent a lot of effort to buy this paint.”

“No, I didn’t,” Su Luo said casually. “I only took two days to go overseas and searched more than ten shops. The most important thing is that you’re happy! You’re the most important thing!” As long as Xu Jiaojiao was happy, her trip was not in vain.
