Nie Heng’s gaze was like a laser beam as he scanned Xing Shu from head to toe. Xing Shu could not help but lean towards Cheng Lang. Cold sweat broke out on her back.

Cheng Lang’s head was lowered; looking at the laptop and typing with his other hand. He was in a video conference with the senior management in China. Sensing Xing Shu’s actions, his Adam’s apple bobbed twice as he said softly,

“Quiet, be good.”

The microphone in the video conference was turned off by Cheng Lang. He could hear the reports by the senior management through the earpiece, but the other party could not hear him. Xing Shu melted at hearing his low and raspy voice, regretting her rashness. She wanted to retract her hand quietly, but Cheng Lang locked her hand, pressing it against the leather seat.

Xing Shu quickly turned her head to look out of the window to hide her racing heart.

When Nie Heng saw this, he was very unhappy. His brows furrowed so tightly that they could kill a fly. He barbed, “Xing Shu, you’re really shameless.” She even disturbed Cheng Lang’s video conference; which meant what she did in private would only be even more overboard.

Xing Shu said, “If I weren’t shameless, I probably won’t be able to hook up with Young Uncle.”
