21 Yousre late for your date (1/2)
”Hannah?! How are you? When I saw you disappeared, I got so worried, seeing as how you don't remember anything” she paused ”Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry” I could feel how fluster she was just from her tone of voice. I'm surprised she's so worried thinking I felt insulted by her stating the obvious.
”No, don't worry about it. I just thought you and Min-Joon had a good atmosphere going on, so I decided to leave you two alone” I told her.
”You thought we had a good atmosphere between us?” In dramas, when the female lead is talking about the male lead, the character usually says something along the lines of them making a good couple so that her heart flutters and makes her like him more.
”Yeah. I just met both of you but the way you were both looking at each other; friends don't look at each other that way. You like him, don't you?” I used the same line I did with Min-Joon since it had a nice reaction from him.
Yu-Na started stuttering ”No…no I don't like…like him…I mean” she coughs ”I don't like him” she does an awkward chuckle. Wow, did she really think after those words, I'd believe her?
Yu-Na sighs, she knows her words sounded unbelievable ”That…that isn't possible. I'm just a reporter, he's the Vice-President of a huge company” she says, but I can tell she's smiling.
”So?” I ask. Although I can't see her face, I can tell that she is surprised by my question. She doesn't answer me. I guess that's it for this subject.
”Would you like to meet up for lunch?” I ask her.
”Today?”
”Yeah. How about a place close to LV Entertainment?”
”Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. How are you at LV Entertainment?”
How do I answer this question? ”Min-Joon doesn't trust me in his house alone so he brought me here” I say. Yu-Na chuckles.
”That sounds so like him” she says and then she gives me the name of a small restaurant and gives me the directions. Min-Joon has gone there before in other episodes, that means it's pretty close to his workplace.
After the conversation I decided to tell Min-Joon about the lunch date almost 20 minutes before the set time. That way he doesn't have time to bail. She told me the place is a few minutes away from this building so if all goes according to plan I just came up with, they'll be a couple in no time.
When it's almost time, I knock on Min-Joon's door and he gives me permission to enter. I see him sitting on one of the sofas, wearing glasses, he had taken his jacket off and had his sleeves pulled up. A mountain of paperwork on the coffee table. He was holding a paper looking at it meticulously while in his other hand he held a pen that he played around his fingers, then placed it on his lips.
I felt my heart skip a beat. He looks so attractive with glasses on. I get out of my trance realizing this is a scene that k-dramas always show. The attractive features of the male lead. Like a shower scene but with clothes on.
