Chapter 7 - Undress Her in Public (1/2)

The sun was high in the sky, blazing down on Xu Zijin.

Her legs had gone numb from kneeling on the ground for a long time and her forehead was oozing sweat. She felt her face burning with heat, her whole body trembling violently as if she was going to faint at any time.

She was now like an arrow at the end of its flight. However, she gritted her teeth and forced herself to stay awake.

The reason Fu Sinian asked her to kneel at the graveside was that he wanted to humiliate her in front of all those people. She had to bear it. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be soft on the Xu family.

As time went by, the mourners had left and Xu Zijin was the only one in front of the tombstone.

Suddenly, there came a sharp, hard voice.

Xu Zijin raised her head with difficulty and vaguely saw a few young women standing before her.

Their faces seemed familiar. Xu Zijin thought for a while and then remembered that they were all Mu Anan’s good friends.

She instantly realized what they were going to do.

“Get out of my sight!” Xu Zijin snapped at them. Even though she was down and out, she wouldn’t allow them to humiliate her.
