Chapter 29 - What conditions? (1/2)

Feng Jianyu crouched beside her, ”What are you doing?” He asked in a very gentle voice.

”REVENGE”

”REVENGE FOR YOU AND ME”

'You and me', Feng Jianyu's heart skip a beat, He could feel Goosebumps on his body. For a minute he didn't say anything and concentrated only on his breathing.

He looked at her admiringly, ”For what?”

”Tsk… 5 minutes Please!”, Xiu Mei made a sound by clicking her tongue and waved her right hand dismissively.

”Alright! But you will explain to me everything, Ok?”, He cocked his head to the side and raise his eyebrows to confirm.

”Mm”, she responded with a small sound without taking her eyes off from the screen.

Then he got up and walk to stand beside Wang Shi. Wang Shi was confused by her strange behavior.

”Why she's behaving like this? I checked her brain scan reports, they are all normal. No brain damage! Is she always like this? Is this her normal behavior?”, despite being a world class doctor Wang Shi is unable to understand why she sneaked out of her room, stole a laptop and now she's sitting under a table, not talking to anyone.

Feng Jianyu smiled at his brother and nod his head, ”When it comes to work she is like this. She won't pay any heed to her surroundings and will concentrate only on her work until she completes it.”

”Don't worry this is normal for her.”

”OK”, Wang Shi only nodded his head.

After 5 minutes Xiu Mei is finally done with her 'REVENGE', she grinned mischievously and stretched her hands on the side. Taking a deep breath she cocked her head out of the table and looks towards the two gentlemen. ”Hey, guys! Waiting for me?”

Wang Shi is surprised by her change of behavior, ”Yes Miss Xiu Mei… You really scared us”. He is about to walk towards her to help her come out, but Feng Jianyu holds him back by putting his hand on his chest.

Feng Jianyu crouched again and extended his hand. He put his other hand over her head to prevent her head from bumping.

While heading back to the room, Feng Jianyu put his hand over her shoulder to help her in walking since her ankle is also hurt. But Xiu Mei felt Strange and unobtrusively removed his hand from her shoulder so that he won't feel offended.

Feng Jianyu noticed this but didn't say anything. He didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.

The trio come back to Xiu Mei's room. Feng Jianyu gestured his brother discreetly to examine her, while he sat down on the sofa and picked his tab to read something. He acted like he's reading something but all his attention was on Xiu Mei only.

Wang Shi examined her thoroughly, ”Miss Xiu Mei everything is fine but since you suffered a concussion I am keeping you in the hospital for 3 days under observation.”

”3 Days? That's too much! You said I am fine”, She pouted.

”Yes you are fine, but it's a precautionary measure. Please cooperate with me”

”Dr. Wang Shi please don't do this to me! Hospital's make me uncomfortable!”, she shook her head like a two-sided drum.

”Miss Xiu Mei please understand, it's for your own good. I am sure you also don't want to end up on this hospital bed again.”

”Fine! I will! But I have a condition… and in return not only will I stay here for 3 days, but I will be very obedient as well.”
