”Feng Dingxiong?”, He narrowed his eyes at her.
She smiled heartily and nodded her head like a pecking chicken.
Feng Jianyu looked at her face and his heart skipped a beat. For a moment everything around him froze and he could not feel or hear anything. The way her lips curled up, the way a deep dimple on her right cheek crinkled, her face glowing with the excitement, her eyes shining like stars, this is the first time he has seen her smiling so heartily. Her smile was a direct arrow that went straight into his heart.
He gulped and licked his lips, ”Cough… Please get me a glass of cold water”.
She immediately brought a glass of water and gave it to him.
”Thank you”
He finished the whole glass and sighed.
She was still standing there smiling beautifully.
”Sir, have you met President Feng?”, she asked shyly.
Feng Jianyu ”….”
'Met? I have come into this world because of his sperm, silly girl!', He scoffed thinking about it.
”No! I have never met her”, He lied to her. ”But tell me why you are interested in Feng Dingxiong? He is too old for you.”
Hearing this Alice was horrified, ”Sir, What are you thinking? I am not that type of girl. I don't like President Feng.”
He frowned, ”You don't like him? Then what do you want from him?”
”Sir, I admire him… He is my idol…”
”Why?”
She rolled her eyes at him, ”Give me a second”. Dragging a chair towards his table, she sits down opposite him, ”Sir, he is a legend in the business world. Feng Corporation was nothing when Mr. Feng Dingxiong took over the company from his father. But now, it has become one of the biggest company in this world”.
Feng Jianyu was quietly listening to her theory about his father. But he was more attracted to her way of speaking. It was as if she was talking about her favorite actor and no one could stop her at the moment. Sometimes she would make her eyes big, sometimes smile mischievously, sometimes move her hands blankly in the air and sometimes bite her lips.
”His educational qualifications are unbelievable. He is a topper of Harvard University and has two Ph.D.'s in economics and Investment strategy. At the age of 21, he joined his family business.”
”His skills are unprecedented, he always looks above profitability, and long-term potential over near-term financial gain, which has been noted as rare in business processes. Because of his excellent leadership, his employees create products and services that are at least 10 times better than those of its competitors. Isn't this amazing?”
She keeps on blabbering about Feng Dingxiong nonstop for 2 hours. It was almost like she has herself done Ph.D. on him.
Feng Jianyu was already aware of his father's achievements. Hearing her babble about his father, he concluded that she is not interested in his father but his business skills.
He stopped her,” Yes! He is indeed amazing! So you are interested in his business skills, Right?”
”Yes, I want to use his business skills”.
”Use business skills? How?”
”Sir, no personal questions.”, she retorted.
He took a deep breath, ”Answer this one question, and I will make you meet Feng Dingxiong once”.
Listening to this, her eyes shone, ”Really? Promise?”
”Promise!”
”Ok! I have capability and talent, but I don't have business skills. I want to collaborate with him for a business partnership. Under his guidance, I want to launch my precious product in the future”.
”Precious product? What product?”, he asked curiously.
”Sorry sir, you asked to answer only one question”, she declined to answer anything further.
Feng Jianyu squinted his eyes, 'Is this girl really interested in a business partnership with my father? Does she have any other motive? She is willing to reject 25 million $? What product does she have?'
